Mixed Feelings
The Arc-170 is such a cool ship so it’s pretty hard to go wrong. This thing looks so cool no matter what.
The good: ✅
The minifigures in this set are really nice.
The wing function is great and a nice touch.
The build quality is really sturdy and great for swooshing around feels very solid.
Arc-170 will always be cool.
The bad: ❌
The stickers are horrible. On the cockpit especially the rear one it’s very difficult to get it to sit perfectly and there’s not much room for error. They are not even the right colour! Lego could have included a printed piece for this part especially with the 70€ price tag.
The guns on the wings do not look great and the spring loaded shooters take away from the look, the guns on the old arc 170 would suit much better.
The size, not much needs to be said here. I quite like the build but could have been a bit cheaper.
The unfinished look in some places, the bottom of the arc-170 just feels unfinished. And the rear turret feels unfinished with the big gap left at the back, I would have liked to see a more sleek design here.
Not much needs to be said about the price, for 70€ I would expect a perfect set with printed cockpits at least.

Not as bad as people say it is
First of all the wing function is amazing and so much better than the old versions and the figs are massive improvements over the old versions. The only disappointing things about the set are the windshield stickers ( which is half fixed by the clear windscreens) the open space in the bottom ( which can be easily filled in ) and the small guns. This set still has better value then the 2010 version when adjusting to price per gram of about 15 cents a gram for the 2025 version and around 18 for the 2010 version. Overall the arc 170 isn’t as bad as you think because I’ve still have had fun with this set even though I paid full price.

Best when modified
The Arc-170 included in the box is not particularly great. While the figures are near perfect, the wings are too small, the guns look terrible, the back has a huge gap that should be way smaller, the engines are too small, and the stickers (as per usual) are abysmal. Basic modifications can fix it, but these could have easily been included in a $70 set without ruining any of the play features. Overall, as is, this set is overpriced and mediocre. But if you take the time to fix the mistakes then you have an overall great Arc-170 (except for the awful stickers). I just recommend waiting for a sale

Small but great
The LEGO set is still quite large, but smaller than all previous LEGO Arc-170 sets, but not because it is the smallest, it is still a great set with many fun features, such as flickfire missiles, open cockpits, open wings, and it is of high quality with beautiful printing on the minifigures.

An alright build that could have been better
The build itself is quite sturdy for play and not difficult. However, there are many repetitive steps to create both sides of the ship. Some of the pieces used for the wing opening mechanism felt sturdier than previous similar mechanisms.
The biggest flaw and complaint about this set is the excessive amount of stickers for this price point. Not only were the stickers excessive, but there’s also a major design flaw when applying them to dark tinted windshield pieces. It’s inevitable to get fingerprints, lint, or dust when applying them, but they’re made 10 times more visible in this set because of where they’re applied.
The set I received also had some stickers improperly cut around the edges and some sticker pieces without adhesive all the way to the edge. While this is more of a quality control issue, the fact that there were so many issues with these stickers alone for a set of this price point is a big drawback.
For these reasons, I wouldn’t recommend this set. I believe it should have been reasonably priced at around $39.99, in lieu of printed tile pieces and windshield pieces.

STICKERS!!!!!
I’m getting tired of stickers, whether they are the right color doesn’t bother me as much as the alignment! I am not having fun trying to stick them on properly (straight) and that frustration is compounded by the stickers not being cut straight… would there be a way for some to pay more and get printed pieces instead ( I am assuming that the stickers are there for extra fun for the kids, but they are not fun for me). Please Lego, with the prices going higher, keep the quality. Also please do not be stingy on the pieces, with the addition of a couple of pieces this set (and many others) could be so much better. You are actually making me rethink collecting legos…

Stickers ruined everything
I've never wrote reviews, especially negative ones, but the stickers in this set, just made it so awful that I've never experienced, the transparent white on the canopy with all the bubbles I just can't unseen it, it's so bad I can't even imagine this is really a LEGO product.

Loved set little pricey
when I was building the set I was not even done and I started to play with it even I only finished one of the sides and after playing with it I even loved it even more but the price was a little to step for $70 I mean the building was great but I think the set should be $50-$60

Great family fun
Packaging is sturdy & easy to open & to also use once packed away
Safety is excellent as long as you use for the age it specifies.
Assembly is fairly straight forward & easy to do. Great for when we have friends over with their children to use their motor skills & for family & friends to do together

Impressive
This Star wars Lego set has been an incredible addition to my current Lego collection for my little boy. They comes in separate bags making it very convenient to use and helps with building and locating different parts. The instructions are detailed and helps to make it even easier. It comes with Lego separater so incase of any mistakes you can easily detach them . My son has spent past week role playing and playing with various parts. It’s very alike the real Star Wars and adds more to the adventure and experience. I will highly recommend it as it’s fun and a very relaxing activity .

Overall great minus the stickers
This was a fun build, the wing mechanisms works great. The mini figures look detailed too. It’s a sold feeling fighter and I love the style, this is my first fighter type that I’ve built, I was however disappointed with the stickers, especially the ones over the windshields. I managed to get a finger print mark on one, there isn’t any way to avoid that if your finger goes over the clear part apart from printing onto the Lego from the start.
I would recommend it, other than the poor sticker choice I do think it looks great

Artistic and Engineering Marvel
This set is astonishing in revealing the expertise of the designer who has mixed engineering with art. It was somewhat difficult to build but in the process I marveled at the effort to construct a work of art. A set that can easily be dismissed but much better understood as to its careful attention towards perfection in design. Thank you to this designer and this small wonder.

Cool set, love the three cockpits!
The LEGO ARC-170 Starfighter is an absolute gem for Star Wars fans! Its standout feature is the awesome triple cockpit design, which is both unique and incredibly fun to build. The set includes three detailed minifigures, adding to the excitement and playability. The opening wings mechanism is super smooth and makes it feel like a true starfighter in action. A must-have for collectors and builders alike!

Dream set
This is a great set, I've wanted this one for a while. The minifigures are fantastic, and the build is actually quite large.

Good with issues
The wing opening/closing mechanism is great—using gears instead of rubber bands. The starfighter feels solid and robust and in-hand. However, the stickers on the canopies are tricky to apply and some of the colors on the printed parts are too dark. Looking at the completed fighter, this feels more like a $55 USD set.

Be careful with the stickers!
Messed up one of the cockpit stickers and now it has air bubbles trapped in it. Mixed with the translucent stickers, it just looks bad. I got the technique down for the other two cockpits, stick one end, and keep a lot of tension on the sticker as you slowly and steadily roll it over

Tired of false advertising
The build was okay for the price, but we keep getting less and less for more money. My main issue is with the stickers on the windows. They look absolutely nothing like what LEGO is advertising. Instead of the bright white on the box and web picture, you get a translucent grey that shows air bubbles really easily if the person assembling isn’t good at putting them on. I have had to request new stickers due to the sheet getting damaged in the packaging and not applying properly as well.
Also, the wing guns are way too small.
