Terrible figs, terrible build, terrible price
The fact this passes as an average set today shows just how far both Lego's standards have completely bottomed out. If this was released in say 2013, it would be seen as easily the worst set in years.
Firstly, the build is abysmal. It looks like the build is inspired by the Coruscant police gunship, but it looks nothing like it. The set looks like a brick. Not attractive.
That's ok though, right? A battlepack is about the minifigs, surely those are better?
Nope, while the Death Troopers are good enough, the Night Trooper Stormtroopers look terrible. I'm not sure why they went with the new helmet mould, but while it is dual-moulded and technically higher production value, it looks comically bad. They look like Family Guy helmets, too goofy even by Lego standards. Worse still, they are so large that the playability of rotating the helmet is now impossible. You can't even defend this decision as Lego's "style" because almost no other moulded Star Wars helmet is this comically oversized and squashed (Vader's isn't like this, super battle droids don't look like this, clone trooper's helmets don't look like this, Mandalorian helmets don't look like this, etc.). It is a baffling design choice, but not uncommon in this decade.
Cherry on top, this isn't even a good value even if the set and minifigs were perfect. The original battlepacks from Star Wars would be roughly 15-16$ in today's money with inflation. You're paying 7$ markup on battlepacks, and for what? I would take any of the pre-2020 battlepacks over this, even the classic most dated designs because at least their dated elements were due to actual limitations of the time that still have value because of compensating with interesting style and good playability. This set only has worse stormtroopers, worse Death Troopers, a worse build, and the characters of a worse TV show to offer you for 7$ more.
This is one of the worst battlepacks ever released by Lego and I would not recommend buying it. If you are set on buying this poorly designed set, I would encourage you to wait until it is on sale so you're at least paying the normal inflation-adjusted amount for one of the top 5 worst battlepacks lego has ever produced. Lego is capable of and has produced much better, as recently as last year.

Average but really effective
This is a set I always had a eye on for when it was gonna release and I wanted two of them because I like army building but never had sets to do it with but now i do.
I am not mad at the $22.99 price it is not bothersome nor good but on LEGO's part for making new minifigures they can get away with it.
But If i was to change the price I could see a fair $14.99 or $16.99 not over a $19.99 price it's simply not reasonable also the build is really simple and so easy but it has it's charm plus the finished build is quite hefty and very stable.
But I currently have both my sets in a 16x16 Baseplate because I always put my LEGO Sets in a baseplate for displayability and stability purposes.

Fun to Build, great for display!
I built the LEGO Star Wars set 75412 in no time, the assembly was quick, very entertaining, and every step kept me engaged. The minifigures and vehicle details are spot-on, making it an instant favorite.
Now it sits proudly on my work desk, adding that perfect touch of Star Wars flair to my space. Definitely a 5-star set for both building and displaying! 🌌💫
Lego always packing with the manual, you pay the price for what hoy get 👌

Weak set
Beautiful minifigures, mediocre build. Recommended.

Good figures
Overall a pretty decent set. The price point isn’t bad, the figures are great, but the build maybe not so much. The figures are gorgeous to look at and I would recommend getting the set even just for them. The build isn’t my favorite, although it’s not too bad. I love that it can hold all of the figures, the little wing parts were attached in a fun way, but it sort of just looks like a black brick. Overall a pretty alright set.

Pretty good with some flaws
I got the set on sale at Walmart, so I don't mind the price. But as some other people have mentioned, the lack of individual faces is a little disappointing, as realistically all stormtroopers don't have the same face. As for the build, I didn't even use the official instructions, as I just went on Rebrickable and found an alt LAAT build, so this isn't exactly LEGO's achievement, but it was still good. In terms of the minifigs however, I LOVED them! Always wanted some Death Troopers, but they were too expensive. So this battle pack was really helpful! $23 at full price isn't exactly perfect, but with the August wave in mind, I'd much rather get 2 of these than 1 of the 327th Battle Packs for the same price. I love the concept, not so much the build, but definitely the figs! Relatively rare but welcome success from LEGO! (The photos are of the ALTERNATE build :)

Awesome Small LEGO Set!
This is a great small LEGO set! It only took about 20-30 min to assemble. It’s really cool how the Troopers can attach to the ship and how you can shoot the little red pieces.

Sound effects worthy
This was fun. I was a kid again and making sound effects. The fact that it's so interactive when put together was nice. Hang up the weapons and move the troopers. The red discs fly far, and I've lost 2 of them. The reason for the deduction was there are some tiny pieces and can easily be swallowed, lost, and more. So handle with care. Instructions were cut and dry, so assembly was quick and easy. Star Wars fan or not kids big and small will find this fun.

FUN AND EASY
SUPER FUN! I built this with my boyfriend while watching the LEGO movie! We were able to complete it rather quickly and had fun with the included Lego characters. The packaging was secure and made a good display background. I would recommend it for both children and adult Star Wars fans alike!

Clever Design Making It Fun to Build
Loved this set. The creativity in how the parts came together really impressed me, especially the clever design elements like the removable helmet, the laser gun rack tucked into the ship, and the functional LEGO part shooters up front (yes, they actually shoot!).
It’s clear a lot of thought went into the small details, and it definitely added to the overall experience. Even as someone who’s not a hardcore Star Wars fan, I still found the build super entertaining and satisfying. If you’re looking for a fun, non-intense project with cool features and great design, this one’s a winner.

Good basic Lego set!
My LEGO-loving nephew really enjoyed this set. It was approx 120 pieces, so not terribly complicated, but it came together nicely and he really liked playing with the different troopers.

Great lego pack
My son was so happy to get this! It was easy for him to build and follow the directions. He has been playing with it for a couple of hours, and it hasn't broke.

Nice small set for SW fans
My grandson asked for this set as his "payment" for doing some chores and he was quite pleased with it. He enjoyed building it and had no trouble doing that. He thinks it looks great and is fun to play with, too. He especially liked the minifigures. I feel the price is a bit steep for a small set but he was totally happy with it.

LEGO WHY?
I just wanted to start by saying the mini figures that were in the battle pack were what saved it from getting a further bad review, the minifigures were awesome but why Lego just why? ITS SO EXPENSIVE for no reason the build should have not been that expensive it’s very small and not worth it I hope yall understand where im coming from thank you

Not bad with some tweaks.
At first I hated this set. I had a problem with every aspect of it: The price was too high, the build quality was poor, I'm not a big fan of the family guy stormtrooper helmets, and two of the same exact night trooper was annoying, though they were cool. However, I added some pieces to make it look more accurate to the show. I actually don't the family guy helmets the more I look at them, and I cut a gaping hole in one of the death trooper helmets to be accurate to the show, and so they wouldn't be identical. So, if you have the pieces and a little bit of ingenuity, it's really not so bad after all. (Also, sorry for the bad picture quality)
