As someone who has watched one piece for 10+ years this build is almost an exact copy of the ship from the anime/show. The build experience was very fun and didn’t feel repetitive. I would recommend this set to any one piece fan.
As usual, delivered quickly and perfectly! LEGO is always good.
I was actually surprised by how much fun the build was. It’s looks great for a mid sized set. Some of the sections could be more sturdy and I’m not a fan of the plastic roping but over all I think it was worth the buy. Definitely one of the best sets of the year. Disappointed I got doubles of the wanted poster.
Good build for the price, plenty of play features and figs. I believe the plastic sails let the set down, makes it feel cheap. I would prefer fabric sails like the endurance and jack sparrows pirate ship. Would recommend picking this one up.

I stopped building Lego sets when I was about 12 or 13, but after seeing this set online I got the urge to build a set again. Picked this up the other night at the store, took me a couple hours to build. I was technically missing a piece from bag 9 but I had an extra piece from a previous bag that was the same so it didn’t end up mattering. Overall I had a great time building, and how can you not just love the going merry in general? Honestly a no brainer purchase for me and I have no regrets
Straw Hats first ship with all of the Straw Hats (so far) the ultimate set for One Piece fans
This was so much fun to build! I built it in less than 6 hours, no stopping. It sounds like a lot but it flew by. I wish I could go back in time and rebuild it for the first time. I was happy the entire process. Definitely get a set!!
Even though I am not familiar with One Piece, I decided to buy the set as an addition to my Lego castle theme project. I am very surprised! It was a super fun build, with interesting techniques, and at a decent price. The build also looks even better in real life than in the stock photos, in my opinion.
Had to build this before gifting since the recipient doesn’t like building. This took about 7 hours to build so I didn’t finish in one sitting. I was lucky to get 4 unique posters and now realizing that wasn’t guaranteed to be unique. While they don’t have anywhere to display the posters, you can get creative and remove the round glass windows from the cabin to put up the posters. Or have characters hold the posters. Love that characters can climb the ships ropes. Lots of secret compartments and different places to position items.
The set turned out really well and I love how it looks. This is the biggest set I have bought so far and I have to say that the build process was really fun and relaxing. Plus the fact that the interior is detailed as well is really nice since it helps give even more life to the set. So the only question I cod possibly have about this set is "Can we get much higher?"
First of all I was not going to buy this set I was going to buy a different set because this set the going merry was not available yet last time I bought that arlong park set but then there iy was just waiting for me i bought it got home my wife face once she saw the set she was beyond happy it took us like 6 hours to build but it was so worth it if you love the anime trust me you will love every single set their is available I have 3 sets already I only need 2 more to have al 5 sets
Worth the back order. Love the Sanji mini figure, cannot wait for Tony Tony Chopper and Nico Robin mini figures to come out. Also Crocodile.
As a One Piece and Anime fan and someone who grew up building legos, this definitely brings back memories as a young adult. Even though the Lego One piece sets were based on the live action version, this set still pulls it off with the iconic ship from both the live action show and the anime. This Lego set was very fun and easy to build although it took me a while like about 6 hours including breaks, I had a blast building this. Only thing I’m a little disappointed about was that most of the missing posters I got were duplicates, but other than that this was still very much worth to buy whether you’re someone who loves Lego or One piece. This is a must have!
For unknown reason I felt in love with the The Going Merry without knowing much about One piece. I felt the build experience was one of a kind while watching the actual Netflix series. Each initial episode introduced the characters so did Lego through the bags. It reminded me why Lego is good at what they do. I thoroughly enjoyed it and wished I was a kid again playing pirates
It was an awesome building experience, it took us estimatedly 8 hours to build between me and my husband, but we didn't build it one day. We got 4 wanted posters with two posters the same. I Wonder why the stickers and the mini flags are not included in the set?
This should come as no surprise this and almost every other one piece set is back ordered. People have been enjoying one piece for decades. I'm so happy lego took the time to make these sets the best they could. The going Marry is probably my favorite set of all time. I simply love it. Can't wait to see what other sets come from the One Piece line!
This set took some time to build, but my son felt very satisfied when it was finished. He likes how Zolo was made to hold his sword in his mouth and how it comes with four LEGO Wanted posters. He also enjoyed seeing the contents of the treasure chest. I would highly recommend this set if you have the time to build it.
It's great to have the whole crew right away. Unfortunately, I had one duplicate "wanted" poster. I noticed that many people have duplicates. I think 18 stickers are a bit too many, but that's LEGO. The set is easy and quick to put together. Good instructions and good quality. 1376 bricks, 5 figures, 18 stickers, 10 bags, 1 missing brick
Took my time with this one, getting through 2 bags an evening. Hopefully we get the “Thousand Sunny” set in the future!
