LEGO quality has declined dramatically
I've been building LEGOs for a long time-my Rebrickable is well over 20,000 dollars, & this will be my last LEGO purchase. All of the black flat panels are milky, & show the ghost rings of the underneath. The only black pieces in the set are the female hinge flats for the trunk-which stand out like a sore thumb. I don't know what happened to LEGO, but from now on I'll find another hobby. I don't want a refund, or another set-I just want to warn other serious builders against this set. I hope they fix the quality issues, but I'm not going to spend my money to find out.

Classic car added to collection
Overall it was a fun build. Never a fan of tiny stickers on little pieces. Always enjoyed the classic show so nice to have an icon piece of it in my collection. Found a fun case for it as well!

Decent build
I read some of other reviews and I think the decision to not include at least Robin in this set is criminal, but I honestly didn't think there was going to be a Batman from the box art.
The stickers are a pain, and there are a lot of very small ones to try and line up perfectly. Some people love to do that stuff, I'm getting old, I'm not crazy about doing it. My stickers lined up perfectly on the print out, maybe not perfectly on the installation.
I enjoyed the build for the most part, but there are pieces on this (the fenders, wings, roof bits) that will easily come off if it is handled incorrectly. I definitely would not give this to a child for play time, or let the fur babies near it.

Sticker Issues Cause for Concern
The set is wonderful out of the box. I like the mini fig, the level of build, and the aesthetic (this being the third Batman Lego Icon vehicle I’ve built). The issue came down to stickers, which really needs to be addressed. For a $150 set, I think it’s ridiculous we’re still dealing with stickers anyways. Mega Construx never did this for their flagship Halo line. Something about the printer was out of alignment for my stickers, which sets up some serious incongruities compared to the box art that I can already see coming. I have a replacement set coming in the mail, but this is not the first time I’ve had this issue and will be disappointed if the replacements aren’t any better.

Holy Bat memories!
Bought this set to compliment the other two Batmobiles I have. The nostalgia factor was through the roof and I loved the fun facts Lego shared in the instruction manual. The set was a fun build, not overly challenging, but had some fun details. Like other reviews, there was a fair amount of stickers- but they added value. I found the stickers for the rears fins to be the most daunting. Also, I agree with many of the comments that Lego should have included a Robin mini-fig. Maybe Lego will read enough of these and send one to builders with proof of purchase. (What do ya say Lego- how about it?)

Misleading, high cost, & no extras
I honestly thought I would never write a review like this but I am fuming! Issue #1: the bottom red portion of the front grill does not line up with the sides as shown on the box and pg 319 in the manual. When I contacted LEGO they confirmed that I had done everything correctly and their assessment was the potentially some piece may have warped (but the didn't). Issue #2: A super-cool vehicle that hypes the 390ci, V8 doesn't have an engine? #3: The wheels don't turn? All-in-all it looks pretty cool, but is way over priced, particularly when you factor in that critical pieces don't line up, there are a gazillion stickers, there's no engine, etc. This set should not cost more than $$99.00.

Fun Build
Was fun to build lots of details. Went together very well.

Iconic
What a great iconic vehicle, a real blast from the past. The build was straight forward with several sealed packs to open as you got further, unlike other builds with just a mass of components.
To watch the build grow into something from my childhood was great, to share the experience with my grandchildren was very special.

Where is Robin?
I recently rediscovered legos and have built several sets including all of the available Batman sets. The question is, “Where is Robin?” Also, why does a $40 billion dollar company still have stickers in its sets? Come on Lego, my old eyes can’t see these small items, and my OCD kicks in when they are not properly centered. Please print the pieces. China does, why can’t you?

Bat-tastic
A very nice build of the original and best Batmobile. Excellent attention to detail with the finished product looking great. I could have done without all the small stickers though.

Bring me the Bat Sticker Applicator, old chum
This is an excellent Lego set made mediocre due to stickers.
The build itself is beautiful. But by the time I got to the point where I had to apply the tailfin stickers, all of the joy had been sucked out of the build experience. The tailfin stickers are possibly the worst stickers I've seen in a Lego set, definitely the worst in a set of this caliber. In a set like this, a sticker applied even slightly crooked sticks out like a sore thumb. And it doesn't help at all when the sticker sheet isn't even cut properly and the images in the stickers aren't centered properly. I'm hoping a light kit will improve my opinion of this set, and not just highlight the crooked stickers.
And, yes, a Robin minifigure should have been included in place of the "gargoyle" stand.
I'm not mad at you Lego, just disappointed. Posted pictures with Ecto-1 and the Delorean for scale.

Nostalgia
This set was fun and easy to build. I really like the way the build came out. I got this set mainly for it's nostalgic value to me.

iconic car
had to buy this as i grew up watching the series back in the day, took my time to build it, & i ensured 'Batman' the mini-figure, was overseeing the build at all times which as it went on got more pleasurable as it started to resemble such an iconic car, aimed at age 18+ it could have been more challenging with more working features but on the whole the car is very cool to have in my collection.
some may notice in the pictures the right hand drive, but Batman being overworked & underpaid in Gotham has moved to the U.K. on a publicity & fundraising tour ?... lol
one downside was the clear cover over the mobile computer was noticeably scratched that was not like the clear cockpit covers in separate bags

Great build
This is really a good build for the Batmobile enthusiast and it goes well with my other Lego Batmobiles. Awesome details. I really enjoyed it and it took me about 4 hours.

Holy Legoly
After the 89 and 22 Batmobiles, Tumbler and Batwing, the 1966 was always eagerly awaited - especially after the two smaller scale versions.
I used the App Builder for this with its 3D instructions. Sometimes this was a little frustrating when getting to some repeat building (a minor quibble), but this app is always fun (especially with the volume up)
The build itself is very nice, helped with a slight change from just building up black bricks as there is a lot of red trim to the model.
There's clever use of pieces to make the accessories (Bat-phone, Bat-fire-extinguisher) and an array of stickers if you like that sort of thing (I had mixed results lining some up)
I love the minifigure display and the familiar Information Plate.
Some assembly needs a firm hand to ensure all parts are connected and a Robin minifigure would have been nice.
The price too is very reasonable considering the size of the model and the building experience.
Above all the likeness to the TV model is pretty accurate, yet it still keeps that LEGO vibe.
Impressive model.

Excellent
Very much enjoyed the build of this Batmobile - let’s face it, the ONLY Batmobile that counts 😀 It looks great and the attention to detail is excellent. As others have mentioned the stickers can be a little tricky but otherwise parts and instructions are clear. I thought that the wheels are slightly out of proportion but a minor detail, overall highly recommended.

Amazing set just beware of the stickers
First off love the set! I was so excited when it was announced to come out. But beware of the stickers. I knew there would be a lot of stickers because if they did it right everything in the Batmobile was going to be labeled. But I didn’t realize how many stickers there would be. They labeled things outside of the car that are not labeled in the show but it’s so you know what it does if you haven’t seen the show in a while. There is one sticker that I hated putting on. It’s a circle tile with a hole in it, Terrible sticker. They should have made that a print piece since it is a compass and they could use it other build. Also feel like the specification plaque should be printed.
Also. if you are hoping for creator car style with the hood and doors opening, sorry. Only the trunk opens to show the mobile crime computer. No opening doors.
Other than that the set is great. The build is amazing. The end product looks great. I do wish we got Robin to go with Batman. Since the only TV Series Robin we got was in the Batcave a while ago.

Awesome But One Problem
I've been on a spree of trying to get every Lego Batmobile, and I've got many, including the big and small '89 ones, the 2016 BvS one, The big Tumbler, the big The Batman one, and the small '60's one.
When I saw that there was only a small one for the 1960's version, me and my dad were sad because he loves the show and I love the batmobile in it. So when I saw they made a big one, I had to get it. And I am very happy with it, except for one part.
I know people like to hate Lego for its excessive use of stickers, but I somewhat understand because it can be hard to do a whole mold for such tiny details. However, there is a piece in this with a sticker that is very noticeable if you misplace it even a little bit. It's the "wings" on the back half of the car. There's a red trim on it and stickers on the side. However, if you don't put the stickers on the very edge of the piece, you will see the red brick underneath and it completely messes up the design of the red trim. I'll show it in my photo and how it's supposed to look in the instructions. I'm not yet finished building it but I already love this build so much.
Now I don't know the exact process of making these bricks, but I feel like a dual mold with red and black would fix this immediately and might be pretty simple to do. Lego has never let me down before, and I know it's a bit of a nitpick, but it really messes up my favorite part of this batmobile.
If someone at Lego sees this review and actually gets this fixed, it would only solidify Lego as easily the best "toy" company out there.
Thank y'all for reading my review and slight rant!
