Incredible HP Set!
Absolutely amazing set. Loved the build. All the detail the modular building on top then the vaults below. Make sure you have enough room to display. Pretty tall. The only thing wife had issue with is dragons head staying on, but that was all. Just an amazing build. We really enjoyed it.

You’re gonna need more shelves
Well hawt dog! This set is huge! This set was my first huge set that was gifted to me for my birthday. I love that you get mini figures from two different Harry stages. The cute little secrets and details was so fun like the chocolate frog. Now I definitely need to get the Diagon Alley set to go along with Gringotts. The only negative part about this experience was feeling kinda sad that it’s over.

Was there quality control?
Of course it’s beautiful and magical, it’s Lego Harry Potter! You’d be crazy to ignore how cool it looks and the hidden Easter eggs built in. But you pay a whopping price and expect a quality build and this was not. Base plate was too flimsy, but come on this was minor. The GWP was a cool addition but barely hangs onto the base of the sub structure of the bank. The train carts wheels have to be adjusted to make a smooth ride down or else they hit and stop. Too many weak points in the build created a lot of heart stopping moments when a whole balcony or platform was in jeopardy of collapsing (front balconies, under the bank vault with Hagrid’s letter to just name two). They under build was too weak to support the build at the moment. Imagine you were building with your child and they pressed the piece into place only to have the front of the bank collapse? A lot of money for a subpar structure. Alas, us true fans of Harry Potter will pay the money to complete Diagon Alley and Lego knows this.

Odd in a good way
This set seamlessly combines stunning aesthetics with engaging play features. The bank building faithfully replicates its film counterpart, boasting an impressive hall complete with detailed counters, cracked columns, and a charming chandelier. The inclusion of a diverse array of minifigures significantly enhances the play experience. The cavern piece is robust, securely holding the bank piece in place despite its weight. Smoothly functioning tracks and car allow for seamless access to all vault levels without any hitches. While the dragon is well-designed, I had hoped for printed wings instead of plain gray material. Criticisms include the abundance of stickers in a set of this caliber (a common gripe with modern LEGO sets), as well as the feeling of wastefulness when integrating the bank into a modular setup with other buildings, rendering the cavern redundant. Nevertheless, it's a solid choice for Harry Potter enthusiasts.

I was wrong!
I never thought LEGO could come out with a Harry Potter set that I enjoyed more than the Icons set. Congrats, this certainly tied! Clever bonus that it works with the Diagon Alley set. I wasn’t overly surprised with the amount of stickers involved, not a major disappointment there like others. Given the weight of the set I opted to put it on top of a rotating plate typically used for a cake, so you can easily rotate the display to play or show it to a family member or friend. This worked like a charm for the lighthouse set as well.

Not overly impressed
I have a concern regarding 76417 Harry Potter gringotts bank. There is to my belief an error in the building of the 2nd floor windows. I took apart and rebuilt 4 times the windows on page 289 book 3 to have it turn out the same way. It can’t be done to completion. Then on page 5 again built and rebuilt and it can’t be done as I see no where where the bottom piece under the windows is put in or supplied. Very disappointing. If I’m in error fine I can deal with that, but I truly believe this is not correct. Again another window in last book incorrect. These windows took the enjoyment of building this. I so enjoyed the bottom half. I couldn’t wait to finally finish this piece. Such a great piece but brought me no desire to want to do another piece for awhile. Thankyou for your time and letting me vent. In a way it’s kind of cured me of wanting to build more Lego sets for awhile, maybe read for awhile LOL.

Amazing
Absolutely love this set!!! So muchf un to build and it is HUGE! Only fault is the gringotts sticker but we trimmed them down to get rid of the space between the T's. Great addition to the collection!

Amazing
I bought this to go with my Diagon Alley set. As impressed as I was with that set, this one blew me away. The vault area is interactive, and does well to incorporate multiple movies. The bank itself is detailed and I love the little Magical Menagerie shop next door (I do wish it was bigger but understand that would make this huge set impossibly large). And what can I say about the dragon, other than it is perfect. I love, love, love this set.
I built this over 2 approximately 6 hour sittings (I tend to get very focussed on tasks) and would say I'm a beginner builder, having only built the Diagon Alley set previously.
I was missing two items from the set - a wand set (luckily I have plenty of spares from advent calendars. There are some characters that use a wand from a previous minifig but this was Harry's set that was missing) and a flat white roof tile. The roof tile was easily and quickly received by submitting a form for missing bricks on the website.
I'd say, if you can afford it and you're a Harry Potter fan, Gringotts is a must have for your collection.

Magical
I’ve been hoping for this set to be made for a while and received it for my birthday. I took my time building it and took 2 weeks. Lots of great features, feel bad that some of them get covered up never to be seen again. The GWP fits well to expand the mine, and I don’t hate the number of stickers, even don’t mind the gap in the name as the building is wonky after all. I hate putting windows together more than I hate stickers as I have to have all the writing at the bottom facing the right way so it takes ages, but that’s on me not Lego. My shelf isn’t long enough to display with Diagon Alley as one but am still really happy with the finished article, I’ll miss building it as a chill time after work. There isn’t much space to play in when you turn the model around but mines only really for display so doesn’t bother me. A great set that looks brilliant finished, bit expensive but worth it over all.

Lot of money for an average set
Build quality wasn’t really that well thought out when added to Diagon Alley. The set is too short and in my opinion should have been 5-8cm taller to match the scale of the other sets.
Seems to be a number of random bricks added within the general build. I get the feeling that bricks were added, just to get the total number of bricks to a high number.
I would have liked to have seen a way in which the Lego figures could move from the upper to the lower level through a staircase, rather than how it currently is.
The waterfall section seems like an afterthought along with the glass roof which should be a dome shape rather than a flat roof.
The interior could have been made longer to incorporate additional desks too.

Very rewarding
My sons and I really enjoyed the build and time spent together. It was great to have the carts as it helped with the playability. Beat part according to the boys, was the goblet multiply trick.

A truly magical build
This set is such a fantastic build, the designers did a wonderful job packing so much detail in from the movies and previous HW Lego sets. It is a beast of a set when fully complete. My one and only complaint would be the amount of stickers used as I felt for the price point printed bricks were much more warranted. But all in all I wouldn't hesitate to buy and build this set.

Massive fun and size!
Pros: decent construction and fun elements like the railcar. The dragon is fun and looks so cool on top of the bank.
Cons: Does not easily balance on all four pedestals. Either have to prop it up or take apart and reconstruct.

Amazing build
Love this set, waited patiently for months for its released, really compliments the alley which I am now going to rebuild. Really enjoyed the build of the bank and underground system. Only disappointment is how difficult it is to rearrange inside bank display due to lack space. This is ok for me, as I collect to display.
I read before its release lots of people were worried about displaying this set and I have found the Kallax units work perfectly.

Gringotts 2023 is THE BEST HP LEGO set!
I have been collecting Harry Potter LEGO’s since 2007 and I can remember my excitement when the first 2011 Gringotts came out. It was one of my favorite buildings from the movies and LEGO making it into a model was a dream come true. Fast forward to 2020 when Diagon Alley came out, I was surprised not to see Gringotts there but I figured that it would come out later so I patiently waited. Well…IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! This set is fantastic! When I first saw pictures of this set I knew I had to get it immediately. After building it, it still amazes me how LEGO was able to make an underground vault system that is also able to hold up another building. The interior is amazing and I really loved to see the marble printed pieces for the columns. Now, the vault system was what surprised me most. It was totally unexpected and really made this set whole. They even give you all three of the vaults from the major plot points in the movies. This set is timeless and definitely is one of my favorites from LEGO.
Now, the only thing that bothered me about this set is the lovely sticker on the front that says “Gringot ts Bank”. My question is, does this drive anyone else nuts or is it just me. I tried putting the stickers as close as possible, which made it better, but I am still bothered by the gap. I don’t know if there just wasn't any other option but if possible LEGO, can we make sure single words aren't split up on different stickers for future sets. Otherwise, this set is perfect from the building and to the price! One of the best sets LEGO has ever made and definitely is worth the purchase. Great job designers and can’t wait to see what is released in the future! Would love to see a Collectors edition Chamber of Secrets or Knight Bus one day! Till then, back to waiting!
