Missed opportunity
It is a lovely piece and my seven year old son loved joining in with the build. However I feel like Lego missed a trick with making it a static piece rather than more interactive with hidden secrets like the Sherlock Holmes Book Nook.
However, it will still have pride of place on our bookshelf with our son’s Harry Potter books!

Love this
Full of Easter eggs, easy to build and such a cool model. Either bookends or a booknook. Versatile and practical.

Hogwarts express book nook
This was a couple days for building . Not really something you can play with. My son got this from Santa, besides a couple missing bricks and sticker which Lego was able to ship right away to fix. He loved this

Great LEGO set
Excellent set for holding books. It is obvious that the books being held are those from Harry Potter, and they look great together. The set is very easy to assemble, and I had it finished in an afternoon. It comes with figures of Harry and Ron, as well as their pets.

Poor design
I was very disappointed with this product. Considering the name book nook it didn’t close like a book nook but two separate pieces. It should have been called book ends. I Agee with “Not worth the money’s” review. The pegs were in a bad spot for the figurines.

Full Review (120+ characters):
The LEGO Book Nook: Hogwarts Express is a magical and beautifully detailed build that makes a stunning shelf piece for any Harry Potter fan. The instructions were mostly clear, though I did have an issue with the chair placement inside the train—if you follow the directions exactly, the wall won’t fit on properly. A slight adjustment fixes it, but it took some trial and error. One thing I really loved, though, is how versatile the finished build is. You can display it closed as a single bookend-style piece or open it up into two halves to show off more detail. Whether you want it tucked into a bookshelf or spread out on display, it works both ways and still looks great. Durable, fun, and magical!

Not worth the money
It was a nice very easy build. But compare to other book nook i found this one not the best. It could have been bigger so that more detail could have been put into it. The back is also very plain. Sorry to say lego but this one is not what I expected was a bit disappointed.

Detailed and fun
Lego has been so much fun to put together, and it looks so detailed with a lot of different components! I remember Lego blocks when I was growing up, and this is even another level of wow.

Fun and cute
Super cute set and very engaging to work on with kids. Truly a great gift for a Harry Potter fanatic. Loved the packaging as well and would serve as a great show piece once built.

Great display piece
Nice display piece, it looks great next to my books. Feels similar in spirit to the Star Wars Starship collection in spirit, and should be purchased if you're a Harry Potter fan. The build itself was straight forward but fun, with the inherent repetition of building two similar halves more relaxing. Lot of stickers in the set, but they are pretty forgiving in placement so not too bad. I really enjoyed the reflective stickers they added to the set to give an illusion of depth the train station, it significantly enhances the visual appeal when displayed. Overall the set is worth it if you're a Harry Potter fan, though personally it feels a little over-priced and feels like it should be more like $80-$85 instead of $100; though, it looks really nice when finished so I still ultimately think its worth getting.

Solid build with nice detail
I bought this for my daughter’s room to display her illustrated Harry Potter books. They compliment each other very well. The figures have to be placed very carefully though or the will pop off.

Instructions make construction easy!
This is awesome. I thought it would be difficult but the instructions are step by step and makes it super easy to construct. I like that the pieces are bagged in sections so you dont have to go looking for parts through all 800 pieces. The most difficult part is getting the stickers on straight. As far as using the pieces over again to make something else, sure. Your imagination can go wild.
