Explodes if you breath on it
I bought this set to build with my son. The yellow car is fairly stable but the black one breaks all the time. I have had to help him rebuild it at least 40 times and sadly that isn't much of an exaggeration. The front end doesn't connect properly so the lights pop off the bumper pops off the "grill" and logo just float and fall off. the connection for them is not in the right place so they are very precarious. the back wheels rear wheel well pieces need to be removed to put on the back of the vehicle. Very frustrating, i am tired of helping him fix it. also the "spare tire" is very hard to get on and keep on, sometimes putting it on causes the car to explode.

Faulty Pieces Unable to Finish
While building the G63, the pieces don’t fit! This is regarding pages 66 -70. I'm upset that I can't finish.
I will need assistance with identifying pieces that will fit.

Faulty set
This set has only had problems .Firstly on the yellow Mercedes car there was a piece missing I did contact and they said they would send it out so I am very grateful for that . Then I decided to build the g wagon but as I got to part 64 it didn’t fit onto the rest I tried four times from the begging to make sure something wasn’t in the wrong place but every time it was the same problem . I went onto the review to see if anyone else had this problem which they did so I’m very upset as this was a Christmas present I was really looking forward to

Must have for car enthusiasts
Best value for the speed champions in my opinion. Both car are amazing builds although the G Wagon is better over all. The front of the SL is a bit weird and the design for opening the hood doesn’t looks great. It looks better closed. Even with these small imperfections the car still pops! The bright yellow is eye catching on the SL and the G wagon is perfect.

what a collab i've been waiting for!
oh my goodness. we finnaly have the AMG G-Wagon in the speed champion sets! the build was absolutley amazing and i loved it. i own over 25 speed champion sets and still collecting to this day! though i mist note one thing about the AMG G-Wagon. the back of the rear windows is very flimsy and feels very fragile, but still to give it that curce look, looks alright but looks amazing. other than that. amazing additon to the speed champions series. and it is also bigger than the ford bronco set! and heavier! the quality of this set is really great, and the fenfders on the g-wagon, that was a really unexpedted great idea they did there!

Love it!
I love it!
I recently built the LEGO car set, and it was a fantastic experience. The design was well thought out, combining both aesthetic appeal and playability. The assembly process was enjoyable, with clear instructions that made it easy to follow, even for someone new to LEGO.
The pieces fit together securely, and the car's moving parts, like the wheels and doors, function smoothly. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail, such as the dashboard and customizable features.
Once completed, the car looks great on display and is also fun to play with. Overall, this LEGO car set offers great value for both collectors and builders, making it a worthy addition to any LEGO collection. Highly recommended!

Really Great Speed Champs Set
To be honest, I was most excited about the SUV but found the yellow sports car to be a more enjoyable build experience. Both finished builds are fantastic and make for a great addition to the collection. Like the stock car (76935), I'm glad to see different types of cars besides high performance sports/racing cars. The SUV build experience was much more tedious that I anticipated. It's a lot of basic brick laying and not near as much creative build techniques as has come to be expected from the Speed Champs sets. Don't get more wrong, there is some cool stuff going on in there, but not what I expected. The yellow sports car, on the other hand, was just great from start to finish. The build times and piece count are definitely lopsided with the SUV being heavier. They look great and although I don't "play" as much as others, I did give them a fun test drive and was pretty forceful and they held up nicely.

Realistic! Wow!
The Lego Mercedes set is a fantastic addition to any Lego enthusiast's collection. This set captures the sleek and modern design of the Mercedes cars, with intricate details and a realistic color scheme.
When it comes to the assembly of the Lego Mercedes set, builders can expect a well-designed and thought-out building process. The instructions provided are clear and easy to follow, with step-by-step guidance to help you piece together the model with precision. The set may involve some intricate techniques, particularly in capturing the curves and details of the car's design, but the end result is well worth the effort.
Once completed, the Lego Mercedes model makes for an impressive display piece, showcasing the elegance and style of the real-life car. Whether you're a fan of Mercedes vehicles or simply enjoy building Lego sets, this one is sure to delight.
Overall, the Lego Mercedes set offers a rewarding building experience and a stunning finished product that will be a standout in any collection. Highly recommended for automotive enthusiasts and Lego fans alike.

Best car Lego set I’ve ever seen
I’ll be real- this set and this set alone got me back into LEGOs. Was in the store with my kids, saw, bought. Unfortunately, searched for similar awesome cars and house sets they can fit in and couldn’t find any. LEGO- high hopes to keep winners like this one coming!
Finally, a car Lego set that fits a normal luxury lifestyle - without ridiculous strips or race track vibes. A set that can fit a family of figures, with both male and female drivers (mom and dad?).
LEGO, please make more of these. Some ideas:
- Audi TT & Q8
- BMW i7 & iX
- BMW M8 convertible & X7 M
- Lexus convertible and SUV
- Hummer
- Cadillac Escalade
- Bentley Convertible & SUV
- Maserati electric convertible
- Tesla Cybertruck (haha!)
- Tesla Model X with falcon wing doors
All fun ideas. Use normal colors- no stripes or silly things. Keep it real so it can be used in lego model homes, garages, and towns.
And next idea: Team up with HGTV, like property brothers and fixer upper, to make normal scale modular rooms and garages that combine to make custom houses that these cars can park in.

Great little G-Wagon!
This was a really fun build and looks like the real thing. I like the hoods open up to reveal the motors in this set. The SL seats three minifigures and the G-Wagon fits four, plus a ton of stuff. Just what my rag-tag band of warriors need to hit the town!

Perfect gift for boys who loves cars
Such a great set for my 11 years old son. The instructions was clear and despite my fears that it would be hard to assemble, it was not that much. Yellow car took him about 1 and half hour and was easiest from both. Black car took much longer and at the end, I have to finish it. Make a mistake at the beginning, realised at th middle of process when was unable to continue, have to dissemble the car and have to start again from zero. So, have to pay attention to each and every part. Struggle was worth because both cars are amazing and great quality. My son is very happy.

Very unique and fun to build
This has to be the best speed champions set I have built! The building techniques are quite unique compared to the other sets in the series and the details on both vehicles are very good. I hope we get to see more big vehicles within this series like the G-Wagon in this set or more convertibles because this set was very fun to put together. 10/10 from me!

Great design and price
Very nice build, both cars look impressive. Black G-class is massive and heavy, but looks stylish and much better in person rather on photos. The yellow SL is a perfection! Such a neat build, love the back. Also, price is so good for this one, specially with today's price tags it's very affordable for 2 awesome looking vehicles. The only downside is some sticker choices that I don't understand, some inconsistency, but I'll go with it anyway. Plus, in my opinion, the yellow beast goes great with the new 3-in-1 Modern house!
