This was super fun! I received this Lego Nascar Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for free from Lego and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I absolutely love Lego brand. This set is the speed champions collection, and it was super fun and an easy build. The assembly is easy with the help of easy to read instructions. It's held up so good after being build, the legos are very good quality, as always. This one comes with 328 pieces.
The speed champions theme has been very good to me all these years, and this set in particular did not disappoint. As always the build was super unique using pieces in very unique ways, particularly the front hood and rear spoiler and exhaust areas. The color choice was a bit strange to me at first but I’m really warming up to it, and it stands out well on my display shelf despite being a boxy nascar. That said I do think that a new windshield piece mold could be beneficial for some sets. The stickers work well with the color gradient, and are surprisingly not overwhelming. I still wish they had some smaller pieces were printed, and the larger pieces on the sides had stickers that stretched top to bottom more to align with both the black on the bottom and spotted pattern on the top. Overall another banger from the most creative team at LEGO. Thanks for the care put into this line.
My son's review: The Lego NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 was a fantastic build, it was super enjoyable, and it looks super good on display. I loved the printed pieces in the set they are always so much better than the stickers. I loved the colours and the stickers on the set they stand out make the car look great. I loved certain designs on the car they made it look nice and realistic. Overall I would de-nitely recommend this to someone who likes NASCAR or even cars in general it’s definitely worth the price and you won’t regret buying it.
This is a really nice collectible set. The colors are so vibrant and fun. It’s a challenging task but perfect activity to work on with your family. Looks nice on display!
The Lego NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is perfect for the kids those who love race cars. It’s interesting to assemble. It’s durable as the name Lego known for. All the details like rear spoiler etc. Gives it a rich feel. Instructions are great. My son couldn’t help him to build it even for a day.
Looks exactly like in pictures. Beautiful, medium sized car. Easy to build and very fun to play with. My daughter loved making it and enjoys playing with it almost everyday. Very durable, great quality
Overall this is a nice Speed Champions set, but it isn't as strong of an entry as some. I definitely appreciated the change of pace to have a stock car instead of high performance sports cars. What really shines is the unique parts usage, specifically the mud guard on the hood. There are also some rare (at least to me) pieces, most notable the clear spoiler and the yellow hood pieces. Some concerns with this set include the front of the car is not as stable as other sets, and because the connection pieces are weaker during the build process it makes it difficult. At the end the front is relatively secure, but you have to be careful with placing pressure on the bottom. The quarter circle piece on the bottom is only connected by one stud. There are a ton of stickers, which really doesn't bother me, but know others care. For a NASCAR car, I find it actually quite appropriate. Sadly, I put one of the stickers on upside down, but that is a me problem. I also really dislike the shape of the sticker on the front window. I find those incredibly hard to get on correctly. The inside of the car is a bit of a miss also with the braces. I found the ones in Dom's Dodge Charger (76912) to be more intentional, where this set looks a bit sloppy in giving the desired impression. The tires are outstanding. It's a decent set overall with a few issues.
As a LEGO enthusiast, the NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 set was a real joy! I spent a couple hours making it and the build experience is engaging and rewarding, with clever techniques used to replicate the Camaro's curves. Its vibrant colors, precise printing, and adjustable rear spoiler, makes the finished model a stunning display piece. Any NASCAR fan would appreciate the attention to detail and authenticity.
While this little nascar Lego set is really neat, not all the pieces fit properly such as the clear window for the truck area. Now matter how hard we tried, the trunk wouldn’t close together properly with the window in. The small pieces in the trunk space have fallen out as well, compromising the stability in that area. This is definitely not for beginners, or young kids, unless they have the skill for it. Overall it’s a great looking LEGO set, but very difficult and time consuming to build.
My teenage son put this together pretty quickly. He loves it. And I looks so cool! Plus the wheels roll, and it includes the driver mini figure. Now he wants to get more cars to display! This would be great gift for a teen.
I was so lucky to receive the Lego Speed Champions NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camero! Everything arrived perfectly packaged in individual bags within the box, to make building/assembly of this 328 piece creation much easier and organized! My 11 year old and 8 year old built this together, and they had such a blast! They love legos and this was an awesome item for them! As per Lego fashion, instructions and photos were clear and easy to follow, everything was labeled as well allowing my boys to work together. This product has such amazing detail and authenticity, from the interior details such as a roll cage all the way to the exterior such as the headlights and rear spoiler! A Lego figurine is also included and he comes ready with a helmet (or hair!) and a wrench to work on his race car! Fire extinguisher included as well! This is a very high quality replica and my boys have it displayed proudly in their room! The colors are also incredible! This was a very well through out product! Thank you Influenster and Legos!
Literally struggled for 20 minutes on step 101 because every time I clicked the piece in the whole back end would fall off (I became frustrated and gave it to my boyfriend to try). It than took him another 10 minutes to get it to stay by having to hold piece 101 and put pieces 102 on to keep it in place and the piece still isn’t connected how it should be.
Great build not a lover of stickers but it make this one look great.
Boxes always come crushed, that my only complaint, because I save them to rebox after I display for awhile
This car is the 1st purple/yellow Speed Champions car that I've built and seen. The yellow and purple color scheme is a nice change from the regular basic color cars. This was a very easy build, with very few stickers which I recommend using fine tweezers to apply to the model. In addition make sure you place the stickers in the right place and orientation on the car so take your time. The clear rear spoiler is a nice addition to the rear end of the car. Overall this will be a nice addition to your car collection. Enjoy it.
Seen at Target a week before actual release so had to grab. Loved the colors and size. Added to my other Camaro.
