Beautiful piece of Rivendel.
As a true Lord of the Rings LEGO enthusiast, you definitely shouldn't miss this beautiful Rivendell set. The set depicts the gathering of elves, dwarves, and humans, after which the Fellowship sets out together. One of the highlights of this set are the beautiful mini-figures. Arwen in particular is very well made, including the typical pointed elf ears, elf cloak, and uniquely curved elf sword. Elrond himself is also a must-have! The elf building is also very well made, including the golden-colored pots on the steeply sloped roof. A funny detail about this set is that (just like in the film), Gimli flies through the air when he tries to physically destroy the Ring with his axe. The downside of this set is that there are relatively few parts included. In the commercially intended description, you can of course find the phrase "Build the mighty Elf city of Rivendel...", but with this single set, little of that comes to fruition. Just to recreate the Council of Elrond as in the film, you would essentially need three sets, let alone being able to build an entire city with it...
