Prices from the shops we compare. Nobody pays for a place. How we rank

How we calculate

The price per piece is today's lowest price divided by the number of pieces in the set. We compare it with the middle (the median) of the theme, so you see which sets are cheap or expensive for their theme.

Compare only within one theme. DUPLO bricks are bigger, so the price per piece is higher there. Technic has many small parts. A price per piece also says nothing about licence costs or minifigures.

LEGO explains on its own service page how it sets prices. A low price per piece does not mean a set is better. It is a way to put sets of the same theme side by side.
