In two years Bluey has grown from an Australian preschool series into the world’s most popular dog family, and LEGO has been fully on board since June 2025. After the first wave with the Heeler house and the playground, a second wave arrived on 1 June 2026: grannies Janet and Rita, the school with Rusty and a brick-built Heeler family for older fans. That brings the line to ten sets across DUPLO and 4+, and the good news for Dutch buyers: nearly all of them are below RRP.
This guide is written for buyers in the Netherlands. On 12 June 2026 BricksDeal tracked every Bluey set across dozens of Dutch shops; each set in this ranking can be compared at fifteen or more retailers. We ranked them by current lowest price, RRP, age suitability, availability and — more important here than in any other theme — how well the set matches the age of the recipient.

Quick pick: which Bluey set suits whom?
| You’re looking for | Best starting point | Why |
|---|---|---|
| The gift that has it all | Bluey’s Family House (4+) | All four Heelers plus the most famous setting |
| Something for a 2- or 3-year-old | DUPLO Family House or Ice Cream | Big bricks, safe and instantly recognisable |
| A set for the whole family | Brick-Built Bluey Family | A real build, fun for parents too |
| A small birthday gift | Grannies or Playground Fun | Affordable and an instant hit with fans |
| A mini extra | Bluey Tea Party polybag | Cheapest Bluey item, fits through the letterbox |
The common thread: age first, set second. A toddler gets nothing out of a 4+ box with small accessories, and a seven-year-old will call DUPLO baby toys. Only once the line is right does price become the filter.
How we rank Bluey sets
The order weighs the current lowest price against RRP and the number of retailers with stock, and sets that against age suitability (does the label match reality?), play value, how directly the set captures the show and whether it works as a surprise without explanation. Age weighs heaviest with Bluey: the audience runs from 2 to about 7, and within that band a single year makes a big difference. Picking the wrong line is the most common gift mistake here, more so than picking the wrong price.
DUPLO or 4+: the choice that matters most
The Bluey line comes in two flavours. DUPLO (sets 10458, 10459 and 10469) uses the big toddler bricks and targets 2- and 3-year-olds; building is secondary here, re-enacting the show is the point. The 4+ sets use normal LEGO bricks plus large starter elements, so a preschooler can independently build something that looks like the box.
Since June 2026 the second wave adds a third flavour: the Brick-Built Bluey Family is a regular building set without a 4+ label, aimed at older kids and — let’s be honest — at the parents who have already seen every episode three times. It is the first Bluey set that also works as a display piece.
If you’re unsure about moving from DUPLO to real LEGO, our guide DUPLO or LEGO: what suits your child? is the better starting point; for per-set age advice, see LEGO sets by age.
Why Bluey sets are sharply priced right now
Bluey is now stocked by virtually every Dutch toy seller: from Bol.com and Amazon.nl to Coolshop, Alternate, Proshop and the classic toy shops. Broad availability means price competition, and the data shows it. The 2025 wave 1 sets sit structurally twenty to forty percent below RRP, with the DUPLO Ice Cream Trip as the outlier.
The 2026 wave has already followed within two weeks: none of the new sets still sells at RRP. That is remarkable, because new licensed sets usually hold their price for a few months. For buyers it mainly means this: never pay RRP for a Bluey set, because some shop is always well under it. Which shop that is changes per set — which is why a per-set price comparison pays off more than loyalty to a single store.
Buying a gift for a Bluey fan
Translate the table above into age and the centre of gravity shifts with it: under four it’s all about DUPLO and recognition, around four and five about the number of figures in the box, and from around eight (or for the collecting parent) about real build hours. That is exactly why a DUPLO Ice Cream Trip and the Brick-Built Family are rarely meant for the same child.
Two sets fall outside that progression. The tea party polybag is something small for a shoe gift, a party-bag alternative or a topper on another present. And for anyone wanting to surprise a Bluey fan who is about to become a big brother or sister: the Pizza Girls set with Muffin is the first box where Bluey’s little cousin is the star.
More budget options beyond Bluey are in our guide to LEGO gifts under 25 euros.
Where to buy LEGO Bluey in the Netherlands
All the big players stock the line. Bol.com usually has the broadest stock including the polybags, Amazon.nl alternates sharp day prices with delivery times worth watching, and LEGO.com is the surest place for the newest wave 2 sets — at RRP, but sometimes with a free gift set on top. Behind them, Coolshop, Alternate, Proshop, GoodBricks, Conrad, MediaMarkt and Coppens Warenhuis rotate aggressive per-set prices.
Our advice is unchanged: pick the set first, compare second. Every BricksDeal set page shows the current price at every shop side by side, including shipping costs and stock status.
When to buy and when to wait
Buying makes sense for the wave 1 sets: they sit at discount levels that rarely go deeper outside Black Friday, and the Family House regularly sells out at the cheapest shops around birthday season peaks. Waiting can pay off for the fresh 2026 sets — new Bluey releases drop noticeably faster than average, and the Pizza Girls and Brick-Built Family probably have not hit their floor yet.
If you don’t want to check prices daily, set a free price alert on the set you want: you’ll automatically get a message as soon as a shop lowers the price. For a line as widely available as Bluey, that is the most relaxed route to the best deal.
Sources and method
Prices, RRPs, stock, set data and product images come from BricksDeal; for the selection we look at what people search for around LEGO Bluey, DUPLO Bluey and Bluey toys, and at the release dates of both waves (1 June 2025 and 1 June 2026, via the official LEGO announcements). The order is Dutch buying logic built on age suitability and gift value, not a collector-value prediction and not a sponsored list; no shop or manufacturer influences the ranking. Because prices move daily, check the set page on the day itself.
The second Bluey wave has landed

Nº 01 · Notre choix BlueyBluey's Family House
The Heeler house is the set every Bluey fan asks for: all four family members, the famous veranda and rooms full of details from the show. With a third off RRP, the biggest 4+ set is also the obvious first pick.
Pourquoi acheter- All four Heelers as minifigures in one box
- The most play value in the entire Bluey line
- Currently well below RRP at multiple shops
Attention- Highest RRP of the 4+ sets
- The build is quick; this set is about play
-
DUPLOBluey's Family House with Memory Game
The Heeler house in DUPLO form, with a built-in memory game that makes the difference: this is not a building set but a game that happens to be LEGO. For toddlers who watch Bluey every day, this is the best big gift.
Pourquoi acheter- The memory game gives structure to play
- Big DUPLO bricks, safe from age 2
- The most recognisable location from the show
Attention- Price per piece is always higher with DUPLO
- Discount is smaller than on the 4+ sets
-
BlueyBrick-Built Bluey Family
The surprise of the second wave: a buildable Heeler family without a 4+ label, and at 466 pieces the biggest Bluey set so far. This is the set for families where the parents secretly watch along just as eagerly.
Pourquoi acheter- First Bluey set with a real build challenge
- Works as a display model and as a toy
- Fresh from June 2026 and already below RRP
Attention- Too hard as a first set for a preschooler
- Priced at the level of the Family House
-
BlueyBluey's Beach & Family Car Trip
The Heelers' family car plus a beach day in one box. The middle of the 4+ line: more play scenes than the playground, more affordable than the house, and currently carrying a solid discount.
Pourquoi acheter- Car plus beach gives two play scenes in one set
- Four figures, so the whole family travels along
- Currently around a third below RRP
Attention- Small parts get lost quickly at the beach
- Fewer expansion options than the house
-
BlueySchool with Rusty and Bluey
The school from the show, complete with the very first Rusty minifigure. New on 1 June 2026 and already sharply priced; for kids just starting school themselves, this is the most relatable set.
Pourquoi acheter- First set with Rusty, a fan favourite
- The school theme matches a preschooler's world
- New and already below RRP
Attention- More compact than the photos suggest
- Wave 2 stock has not reached every shop yet
-
BlueyPlayground Fun with Bluey and Chloe
The playground with slide, swing and four figures is the cheapest full 4+ set. As an introduction to real LEGO after DUPLO this is the natural starting point, and the current discount makes it a safe birthday gift.
Pourquoi acheter- Lowest entry price of the 4+ play sets
- A playground invites free play
- Widely stocked at Dutch shops
Attention- Limited build experience
- Chloe is fun, but Bingo is missing from this box
-
DUPLOIce Cream Trip with Bluey
Getting ice cream with Bluey and Bingo: a small DUPLO set that beats the whole line on discount. It currently sits around forty percent below RRP, making it the best small Bluey gift for a toddler.
Pourquoi acheter- Biggest current discount of all Bluey sets
- The ice cream theme is a guaranteed hit with toddlers
- Compact enough as a small gift
Attention- Few bricks; it is mostly a play scene
- Quickly played out without other DUPLO around
-
BlueyGrannies with Bingo and Bluey
Bluey and Bingo dressed up as grannies Janet and Rita, mobility scooter included: the funniest set of the new wave and the cheapest entry into wave 2. Anyone who knows the Grannies episodes needs no convincing.
Pourquoi acheter- Lowest price of the entire 2026 wave
- Humour that parents and kids both get
- Easy to combine with the other 4+ sets
Attention- Small footprint, limited play scene
- The joke is lost without knowing the episodes
-
DUPLOPizza Girls with Muffin and Bluey
The Pizza Girls episode as a DUPLO set, with Muffin in the lead role for the first time. New for June 2026; the price still has room to drop, but as a gift for a Muffin fan there is simply no alternative.
Pourquoi acheter- First set with Muffin at the centre
- Pizza baking is a strong role-play theme
- Combines well with the other DUPLO Bluey sets
Attention- Relatively expensive for the piece count
- Still fresh, so the discount is limited
-
BlueyBluey Tea Party
Bluey's tea party as a polybag: the cheapest real Bluey item there is. Perfect as a little birthday extra, a shoe gift or a reward, and thin enough for the letterbox.
Pourquoi acheter- Lowest price of anything with Bluey on it
