Yamaha
Like all the other kits I have done this one was just as enjoyable. It now joins the others.
Looking forward to starting next one.
The Batmobile 😁
Great build
This was a really fun build and works up to a really nice display piece since so much of the detail is visible unlike some of the car sets like the Ferrari SP3. (This is not a complaint since the car by design hides transmission and engine details but nice to see details of the build exposed.) You really have a winner with this set,
Great Build
I really enjoyed this build. It was fairly straightforward all parts were well anchored. The gear shifting is pretty cool. The finished build looks really good. if your not a fan of decals there are very few to worry about
Intricate and exacting
This is definitely for an advanced builder with exacting gears and intricate parts. A good challenge for the motorcycle enthusiasts. It’s got working clutch and gear box and is an appreciated completed project for display
Nice set. Poorly packaged, arrives damaged.
Beautiful final result and fun to build. Together with the BMW M1000RR, it is one of the two largest sets in the LEGO Technic motorcycles segment to date. The recommended price is on the high side for this set, but bol.com often has good discounts. However, it is very annoying that bol.com continues to package LEGO so poorly that the box almost always arrives damaged. It is not very durable to keep sending boxes back and forth until it eventually works, and it is also not very customer-friendly.
Yamaha MT-10 SP
This build was a lot of fun. This ment a lot to me because I have a 2017 Yamaha FZ-07 myself. So it was very close to my own motorcycle. It was challenging but a ton of fun. I'm totally hooked on Technic now!
Super beautiful model
A very successful build of the Yamaha MT-10. The building instructions are clear, well-written, and easy to follow, resulting in a very beautiful final product. Beautiful details such as 3 working gears, a rear shock with a reservoir, brake discs with calipers and hoses, etc. Definitely worth the effort of building.
What a great building set.
This was one of the most interesting, fun, and easy-to-assemble sets of recent years. The excellent instruction book (both in paper and digital format) is also perfect. In one word: great.
Fabulous kit and fabulous fun
I got this as a pressie from my wife. We built it together over a 5 day period, had great fun and enjoyment - and are so pleased with the end result. It's an amazing piece of mini engineering in its own right, and such great value for money, too. Loved building the engine and in particular, the working sequential gearbox. My only gripe - and it's tiny - is that Lego missed a trick in not giving the model a crossplane crank which, let's face it, is the MT-10's USP. But hey, it detracts nothing from the overall experience which was frankly, brilliant!! Bravo, Lego!
Amazing build! I Hope LEGO makes more bikes!
I have the BMW M1000R that was released a few years ago and now this Yamaha MT-10. Both builds were amazing and the final product is very detailed in both cases. This MT-10 is slightly less complicated to assemble then the BMW but still a very challenging build in some cases. I always enjoy trying to guess what part of the bike I'm building when I'm putting things together, there's so many intricate details its cool to see it all come together.
One note during my build, at one point I ran into an issue with a missing part from my kit! It's officially the only part that's ever been missing in any kit I've ever bought (and I've bought over 100 at this point). I was able to order the missing piece from LEGO very easily but the 10-15 day wait for it to show up was painful.
Overall another amazing build, love this scale these bikes are being made in, I REALLY HOPE LEGO KEEPS MAKING MORE OF THIS SCALE BIKE, I WILL BUY THEM ALL. Would love to see a Kawasaki H2R!!
Super beautiful car!
Nice motorcycle, a collaboration between LEGO and Yamaha.
Powerful
I think it's beautiful; it looks great on the shelf.
Superbike
Nice LEGO set to build. The final result is a very nice model of a Yamaha.
Technic at it's best!
As an owner of the BMW Motorrad Lego set, I wasn't sure if I should buy this model. I really enjoyed the BMW, but there were a few drawbacks, it wasn't very stable and steering and overall construction wasn't very payable due to flimsyness. It turned out to be mostly a display model. However, part of the fun of a technic set is getting to play with the model and having nice smooth workoing functions.
After seeing an online review that this motorcycle is built like a tank, I decided to buy it.
It turns out I enjoy it much more! The build was a lot of fun, with a whole new gearbox system, very easy to understand how it works but very clever and ingenious. The build was complex and fun the entire time. Nothing boring or too drawn out. Then the construction was extremely imressive! The steering is built solidly and wont come apart from playing, the rear axle is one long piece that won't come apart! It seems that the design of this motor cycle really ironed out all the problems with the previous 1:5 motorcycle. Best of all there is a kickstand that can be used to stand up the model!
I love how it looks, with the little detailing, the overall design makes a great display. The functions work nicely and smoothly. Great steering, suspension, and drivetrain! The build was really fun!
This model is what I call, "Technic at it's best!"
My small complaint is I was missing a small red axle piece, and the gearbox is sometimes a little fussy about switching gears
But despite that, this model was so worth getting!
