Superb writing and design
The first thing I noticed about this book was that it's very high-quality. The pages are thick but "drape" nicely--this is much more luxurious paper than your average coffee table book! The cover and case are embossed in silver, and the end pages have an attractive silver "greebled" pattern. I was pleased to discover that the contents are just as high-quality. The writing is superb--engaging, concise, and flows very well. The book is well-organized and covers its topic thoroughly. The chapters are packed with interviews with a variety of Lego and Lucasfilm employees who describe their role in creating Lego Star Wars sets, shows, and games. As an adult reader, this is exactly the kind of content I was looking for. There are also plenty of great photographs throughout. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a "behind-the-scenes" look at the history of Lego Star Wars.
