Dont buy for the creator train!

I bought this track to go along with the creator train I bought for my son. The train is shown on the track in a photo and there's a link to all the train sets and track along with the train but the creator train is too small for the track. No where on either the train or the track does it say this. I bought this for my autistic son for Christmas who is now super disapointed as he was very much looking forward to making train tracks around around the house. And we bought 2 packs plus the splitter track set for a train that wont fit! This needs to be rectified on your site so no one else disapoints children with this track!

Regret Purchase

Unbelievable and disappointing. Apparently, you must really do your research with Lego sets. I ordered what the build booklet in the Holiday Main Street set specified, only to find that you need at least 3 sets of the City Rails 60205 to make a workable track for the train to run on. The booklet only shows 1 set required. Thanks a lot for that misrepresentation and the frustration. More money required.

1 package of train tracks is not enough.

With this set, you get the impression that you can already build a small business, but that's not the case. You need to order at least 2 sets. Then it becomes very expensive. Also, the box states that this set is part of the "Holiday Main Street" plus item 60205. This gives a misleading impression. A bit disappointing.

Insufficient

I bought this for the winter village. This set is listed as an expansion on the box. However, with just this set, it is impossible to make a train run. You need much more track.

No complete track.

When I opened the packaging, I was really excited to let the winter village tram drive around/through the village (or later around the Christmas tree). Unfortunately, with this set, you can't really do much; the set is not big enough (not enough turns) to even make a complete circle. It seems that this also won't work with a second set, which is a shame!

Not enough tracks!

Very disappointing. I have the Holiday Main Street (10308) trolley, and excited to learn I could add a motor, so I got this set, as suggested by Lego in its website’s product description along with the motor, etc., and with this track set, you can’t even make a closed loop track! In fact, I can’t even get a decent track to run the trolley. The pieces are awkward, and you are unable to make a decent curve. It’s ridiculous that I have to buy another train set with Lego trains that don’t go with my holiday sets! All the train sets are for Harry Potter or industrial, which do not match my other holiday buildings. Such a shame. Very misleading, too. Otherwise, I loved the app and the trolley moves beautifully. Need better track-only sets for the trolley!!!

Disappointment and waste of money

I wanted to build the Christmas Main Street set. So, when I saw that the little train could be transformed to moving train with lights, power up hub and the motor I purchaced them. I also purchaced a pack of tracks as described in the instructions of the set. Till now we are talking about twice the cost of the Christmas Main Street set. I was totally disappointed after all this waiting to see that the tracks set are not able to support a full loop. Totally waste of time and money.

Plenty of Track

Needed this to be able to build the track on my table. 20 packs so I could get enough. There is quite a bit of waste with the flexi track though as these cannot be affixed to the plates

Big Letdown

I guess I should have done better research because this has to be my most disappointing Lego purchase in 25 years. Even if you buy 2 sets you wouldn’t have enough pieces to build one full loop. I’ve wanted a LEGO train set since I was little so I finally bought the Hogwarts express for my wife and I when I saw it on sale. I really enjoyed the set so I decided to buy tracks for it. I just don’t understand why they wouldn’t have included more pieces even if it meant the set would cost more. Do not buy this unless you have an existing train set that you are looking to expand.

Great Quality!

I think that this add on set was a great deal! I purchased it for $17.98 at Target on sale, and I was so glad they carried it! I would recommend this, and was a great addition for the track I already had. It also had a great variety of different track pieces, but it would be nice if they had a full loop in the box instead of about half of one. Either way it’s a great product and I love it! Also, the packaging was great and they even came pinned together, and you can use the ‘pin’ for something else, because a minifig can hold it!

Satisfactory

I bought these tracks so I could extend the Disney Station & Train #71044 and happy with purchase. I just wish you could purchase the tracks separately as I only used the straight tracks to extend the Disney tracks. I am left with the curved & flexible pieces that at present I won’t be using. Looking at my set-up if I want to extend it further I only would require more straight pieces but I won’t be buying this set just to get 8 straight tracks. Lego, please consider letting us purchase individual pieces. I would gladly purchase them separately but won’t buy a set just to get a few more pieces.

Got these to extend our Christmas Train set, easy to use and assemble. The flexible tracks are a great option to get an uneven loop lined back up with the rest of the tracks.
