I think this version is better than the new version they have made. Because this version has less of the "gold" on the walls. Because in Disney World in Orlando, it looks like this version.

Love it ,but missing parts

I love this castle, it’s truly been a dream for years to get it. BUT there are MISSING PIECES out of the box. Things a mi-coloured or not the right size and I’ve gone over n over the instructions and I have a bunch of things missing and some don’t even fit together that I’ve had to improvise I don’t even have ALL the stickers. Really disappointed for my first build and price. Not sure what to do.I have more pics and vid’s then I can upload.

Filled With Disney Magic

I enjoyed the Disney Castle build tremendously. Within each bag there are special references to many different Disney classics and finding these Easter eggs is so fun! I didn’t like that being Cinderella castle, her slipper and fairy tale book are hidden. I made a little stand with the extra pieces to display the glass slipper on ground floor under the chandelier. The Little Mermaid kitchen reference needs a crab instead of the extra pot/pans. The details on the outside castle are amazing and I loved learning new Lego building techniques to help create such simple but effective details. If you are a Lego and Disney fan then this set is a must! Have fun!

Disney Castle

My husband bought this for me. The gift was inspired by my memory of my visit when I was 13. I love the castle! We are taking our time to build it as my husband works long hours. Caution does need to be taken as sometimes the instructions are a bit confusing and the bricks sometimes fall apart. I would buy this set again! Will add photos of the finished Castle when we finish it.

Loved it

Being a Disney fan i always wanted to have a go of this when I seen it, my husband got me it as a Christmas gift and I was delighted with it it took just two and a half days to do it but I have a family so could have done it sooner if I was left alone all day. Instructions were easy to follow and any small mistakes I made could be picked up on before I opened another bag. Its a challenging build but I absaloutly loved it the colours and details are just amazing. Can not fault this product at all. I'm thinking I will need to try the Potter castle next as I love a challenge.

Amazing Lego

I’m Disney fan when I saw this beautiful Lego Castle I said I have to buy it , the back side of the castle have a lot of details It was a beautiful and magical experience

I got this as a gift for my birthday and I had so much fun putting it together it took me a while but the build was a really great experience.

Absolutely Beautiful!

My partner bought me this as a Christmas present and being the savvy shopper that I am, we bought it during a double VIP points event :) it was wrapped nice and tight for months but the day came for me to open it - finally! This build is one of the most impressive, beautiful things I’ve ever seen and I cannot wait for my house guests to marvel at it! The instructions are incredibly easy to follow (I would almost go to say that the 1/2” thick manual could be trimmed down somewhat as some instruction stages only added one brick at a time) and all the while I was building, I found certain aspects to be over-complicated - “why is this red brick being completely hidden under a pile of grey bricks?” etc The set comes with 14 stages (sometimes 4 bags of Lego per stage) and the amount of pieces is staggering- almost intimidating! But I worked on each stage or two in a sitting and it was brilliant to see it growing! By the time you’ve done the lower level (grey) it soon gets finished! The back of the castle is open, for interactive play, and features rooms dedicated to different Disney characters - for example a Mirror On The Wall and red apple (Snow White) a rose in a bell jar (Beauty & The Beast) a kitchen including a cooker, pots and pans, a beautifully made bed.. I could go on but as this is a must-own set, you’ll see for yourself, right? The detail is incredible and I can’t get my head round how this set has been designed! My only problem with this set was incorrect AND missing pieces...! I’m currently waiting for those pieces in the post, which doesn’t bother me too much, but for £300 you kind of expect perfection! Still worth it for the design, detail, wow-factor and my favourite - exclusive minifigures!!! I am SO glad I own this set, I just hope I can sort out an appropriate display case and maybe even a lighting set for it!

Absolutely Stunning and Extremely Detailed

I Loved building this beautiful Disney Lego Castle, I Absolutely LOVE Disney and I Absolutely LOVE Legos ever since I was a little girl sometimes my mom would build with me also, but this Lego set I built myself with a little help from my mom since some of the instructions were a little bit confusing, and some parts were hard to put together I started building on Tuesday the 22nd and finished on Sunday the 27th It was really fun to build and is exciting and beautiful to look at

LOVED IT!!!!

I am a big Disney geek so this was the perfect product for me this took me about 7 hours to build over about 5 days doing it section by section to make the fun last as long as possible. The castle now sits in my sitting room for everyone to see. I would recommend this to any Disney fans especially if you want a bit of a challenge . I also loved all the little details that reference lots of different Disney movies too! As the title of my review said I LOVED IT!!

Lego x Disney castle = childhood dream comes true!

Owing this castle is a dream cones true! Excitement grew since the moment I pick up the package. The box is so huge! And I'm thrilled as I know that the real set is even more extended in all dimensions than its unique blue box. Be that as it may, I've still under estimated the size of the castle, it's the most magnificent lego set I've ever built! Building process is full of fun and surprises, knowing how lego pieces creating breath-taking architecture and details. Building logic is so innovative. My best appreciation in the building process is how they organised and combined the building of the infrastructure and the inner decorations and furnitures, leaving no room vacant. And OMG those small but well-designed objects are all fantastic references to 10 Disney fairytales!

Great value for money!

An amazing purchase! Obviously it's quiet expensive but I believe it's great value for money. I'm 21 and it took me 15 hours and 28 minutes to complete in a relaxed way (multiple sittings in front of the tv). It has 14 stages, taking between 45 mins to 2 hours each (average of about an hour). The finished thing is very heavy, and is ~49cmx33cmx75cm. It has so many cool features and a secret chamber. Not to mention a thing to shoot "fireworks".

A joy to build

When I first saw this advertised, I knew I had to have it, being the big Disney fan that I am. However, when I saw the price, it did put me off abit, but then I asked my partner to part buy it me for Xmas and I put the rest in. Problem solved! Having not played with Lego since I was a kid, it was a bit daunting to see all the bags and the thickness of the manuel, but once I got organised and started building it, I actually found it quite easy to build. It took around 14 hrs to build, though I did it over several weeks, spending a few hrs at a time on it. The attention to detail is amazing. The picture on the box does not do it justice. I love all the film references, the secret compartment and being able to shoot 'fireworks' , though watch where they land as they do shoot out quite fast and being so small, can easily get lost. Only had one disaster..lost the transfer for the mirror so had to improvise and use some shiny silver card which I think looks quite nice. You can probably request a new transfer though. The only downside for me was not enough figures. For the price, I would have loved a few more characters, especially Cinderella, seeing as it's her castle. But I found some (unofficial) lego princesses on line quite cheap which I added to the castle (along with flowers) and plan to add more characters in the future. Overall, a joy to build and now has pride of place on my dining table. :)

I don't want to get into too much discussion with how beautiful and detailed the castle is because it is and the description already does a good job of elaborating over all of the details.
