Amazing on display, but slightly fragile to build
For my first UCS set, I’m really happy with it. It looks great on display, with the TIE fighter pilot minifigure being a great touch. However, when building, parts on the bottom or middle of the center will fall off under very little pressure, making it a fairly fragile set. The mouse droid also looks a bit out of place, but that’s just personal preference. TLDR; Great set with a great minifigure, but a bit tedious to build.

For the empire!
Great experience with some headaches here and there. It can be frustrating to attach some pieces as others fall off in the process especially in tight spots. My manual was also missing pages which was unfortunate. Still the Tie pilot with the arm printing is the real highlight and over all feel of the set is sold. My biggest disappointment is not being able to the interior after applying all those stickers. It looks really cool with all the screens but it’s a missed opportunity visually. Lego did their best to round out the center position but it misses the mark a bit on the front side panels.

Beautiful Display Piece, Fragile Build
First off, this set is a beautiful work of art and looks very cool on display. However, the building experience itself was disappointing. Several parts, such as #421183 and #4558955, don't fit securely together, leaving noticeable gaps and wiggle room for all four scoops (#6210601). Additionally, the wings aren't attached securely, making the build feel fragile. The stand is also poorly designed—the angle positions the ship too high, and it doesn't feel stable enough to confidently display. Given the price point, I expected higher quality, better stability, and a more reliable stand.
Overall it is one of the most frustrating builds I've done so far.

A satisfying build.
Robust and well balanced. Comes in 22 labelled individual bags. Once built, can be posed in different configurations. Priced well for the complexity of the design. Perfect for a Star Wars fan.

If you love Lego and Star Wars this is a great set to add to your collection!
Me and my other half loved building this Star Wars Lego set over a few nights. Straight out of the box as with all Lego it’s bagged up into smaller sections to make the task easier. It comes with a chunky sized step by step instruction book too.
This is an aged 18+ set and although the kids helped a little, it was a bit much for them, so defo one for older teens and adults.
As expected, there’s a bit of repetitiveness to some of the building because it’s got some symmetry but all in all we enjoyed the build . It’s pretty sturdy in general but wouldn’t take too much of a knock. Now we just have to find somewhere to showcase/ store it as it’s on the larger side!

LEGO 75382 UCS TIE Interceptor is a detailed and enjoyable set for Star Wars fans, offering high-quality design and an exclusive minifigure, making it a worthwhile addition to any collection despite minor flaws and a relatively average price.
LEGO 75382 UCS TIE Interceptor is a true gem for any Star Wars and LEGO fan. This set includes a total of 1931 pieces with a weight of 1578 grams. It is a remake of the 2000 set, designed by the phenomenal Henrik Anderson, who also worked on the original model. The package includes one exclusive TIE Fighter pilot minifigure, which increases the set's future value.
Packaging and Contents
The set comes in a classic LEGO UCS box with a 25th-anniversary Star Wars LEGO logo. It is intended for builders aged 18+ and contains 22 numbered bags. A detailed 322-page instruction manual is included, which not only guides you through the build but also offers interesting information about the model and beautiful supplementary images.
Details and Quality
The TIE Interceptor is complemented by a glossy plaque with information about the set, which is somewhat impractical due to its susceptibility to fingerprints and micro-scratches. However, future batches are promised to come with a matte plaque, which is a step in the right direction. The price of the set in the CZ LEGO Store is around 5699 CZK, which corresponds to approximately 2.95 CZK per piece. The set is not overpriced, but it's also not extremely affordable…maybe leading many fans to wait for discounts or promo actions by Lego or other sellers.
Minifigures and Build
The exclusive pilot minifigure has detailed printing, including the arms, but unfortunately, the head is not entirely black, which can be slightly distracting. The set also includes a small bonus in the form of a mouse droid. The entire build takes about +-3 hours, with the first half being very enjoyable, while the second part is a bit repetitive.
Design and Dimensions
The TIE Interceptor model is incredibly detailed, which is expected for a UCS set. The dimensions of the built TIE Interceptor are impressive: a depth of 40 cm, a width of 33 cm, and a height of 34 cm. The wings have a black texture that LEGO has utilized very effectively. The set also includes a stand that highlights the model even more.
Conclusion
LEGO 75382 UCS TIE Interceptor meets all the expectations of fans and me 😊. Despite small shortcomings, like the glossy plaque, the overall building experience is excellent. The price reflects the quality and inflation, but trust me, it's worth it. This set should not be missing from your collection.

Nice Build
The model is large and I can appreciate the small details added. Be careful when attaching the internal cockpit panels (little black triangles with stickers) as I had one pop out while attaching the outside shell plating. This was a me problem (not inserting them firmly enough) and not a design problem. I'm not sure about the complaints about the stand as mine is sturdy and held the model firmly in place during assembly of the solar panel arrays. The only critical thing I can say is the attachment of the laser cannons as they're only attached by one stud. Overall, great display set and good build.

Awesome display piece for the collector or for children to play with!
Really beautiful display piece for the lego and starwars collectors! Very sturdy once put together. It can also be used to play with! Value for money, not just for the pieces but also for the time you spent on it to build it. Clear building instructions in a nice book. Also children from 10+ can build this set! Fun for parents and children!

Big legoset
AD: This set has gotten send by Lego and paid by lego
This set is a big Star Wars set.
I took around 8 hours to build.
But i do think it has a lot of repeating steps, and can get a bit boring.
But when it is done it looks very cool.

I can't shake him!!
Beautifully modeled and detailed build of the dagger-shaped TIE Interceptor. Very sturdy and weighs more than it appears, as the wings are quite hefty, but do not sag. Yes, you have 4 almost identical wing builds, but the wing geometry is so precisely accurate and snapping the plates into place so satisfying that you never feel bored doing it. The cockpit is the most detailed of any UCS ship thus far, but the stickers are annoying, as always.
Three tips that improved the model and the building experience for me: 1) If you dip the stickers in a mixture of water and a bit of dish soap just before applying them, you will get a little more time and leverage to slide them into the correct position. You can then dry them with a paper towel. 2) The 1x3 tiles applied in steps 100 and 119 are only fixed with one stud, so when you touch them when holding the model, they slide out of alignment and can become loose. You can avoid this by using 4 of the leftover 1x1 round plates (there will be black, gray, transparent, and sand-colored ones throughout the build), and adding one to the bottom of each of the 4 1x3 tiles. This will keep the tiles aligned and prevent them from sliding when touched. 3) The angle of the stand with the vertical is quite large. It can be reduced by a maximum of 15-20° by moving the Technic pins connecting to the back-bracing brick 3 holes down. Accessing the 3rd hole requires moving the side bricks of the stand down by one hole, but there's no loss of sturdiness.
In conclusion, had been waiting for over a decade for a proper counterpart for my UCS Red Five X-wing Starfighter, and this set blew away all my expectations!

FOR THE EMPIRE
I missed out on the UCS Tie Fighter and I wasn’t missing out on this. I love how big the wings are. The way they’re locked in from the front to the back, allowing for a very secure hold is a genius move. Kind of wished the stand allowed it to display it tilted. I messed with it to make it stand up straighter. But overall I’m glad I bought it.

Great build albeit a little fragile
Build from start to finish is great. Detail in the main cockpit is outstanding, the way all the pieces and elements come together on the wing supports and the wing themselves are fantastic. It's a very symmetrical shape so there's a a bit of repetitive building but the overall feeling of finishing that last wing snap is a great one. A little fragile to hold and display as there's a lot of fiddly parts that give the build texture and look but nothing major.

Ucs tie interceptor
It’s crazy to think how far Lego has come in the past 25 years, the building experience was good for this set nothing that was too repetitive other than the wings but you can expect this for any kinda of set like this, as for the overall quality for the set it’s really solid and nothing flimsy on it, I actually have the 2000 ucs tie interceptor and it doesn’t come close to this model the 1200 pc difference really makes a difference I would recommend this to anyone.

Better Than The Pictures
Man, this thing is sick! It looks so much better in person! Once I attached the first wing, I realized how big this set was going to be. This is my third UCS set and i know I'll be getting more. They are worth the money! Greatest details, size is amazing, and overall design is killer!

Fun to build! Great to display! A+++
I have been waiting impatiently for this set to be released ever since I heard the rumours. I have wanted a UCS Tie Interceptor ever since my friend showed me his from 2001. This set was a lot of fun to build. It is extremely detailed and is also very sturdy. I like that the fact plate was printed instead of a sticker. I do wish they would’ve done the same for the computers in the cockpit. Triangular stickers are a little challenging to stick on perfectly. The biggest flaw with this set would have to be the repetition. It is a symmetrical starship. Overall, I definitely recommend this set to any Star Wars fan. Especially if you also have the UCS Tie Fighter and UCS Vader’s Tie Advanced.

AMAZING
What a build from start to finish! So much detail and overall just a satisfying build! The figure/figures were a great addition to the set! The angle it sits at is just menacing and something you would see straight for the original trilogy. Would highly recommend not just to STAR WARS fans but to any Lego enthusiasts!

Awesome build
The design and look of this set is fantastic, and I'm really pleased how this set looks next to my UCS Venator. My particular set had a few missing pieces but I'm sure customer service will have them sent in no time.
