Whomping Willow Castle
This set is amazing, and has such great play, with an opening on the whomping willow to have minifigures jump into, and a nice spinning feature on the tree, and is capable of lifting many other vehicles, such as the Mystery machine from the limited edition Scooby-Doo series, and whatever vehicle you want, and the castle has a nice build with Snape's office and multiple rooms, for a great Hogwarts castle.

Missing Piece, but overall great!
Overall, this build is fantastic! The build itself was simple and didn’t take much time at all. The only issue I had was a missing piece. I was missing the green round piece that sits at the top of the whomping willow. I looked EVERYWHERE for this piece! I tore apart the couch, looked under the table, looked through every bag, and looked through every nook and cranny. It was nowhere to be found! At the end of the second bag, I had a gray “L” piece...I didn’t even see an “L” piece at all during the first two bags... Looking at the end of the book where all the pieces are listed, THERE SHOULDN’T BE A GRAY L PIECE! It must’ve been a mistake while packaging. It ended up not being a big deal, since the piece I am missing just sits on the top of the tree, but it was definitely a sad thing to deal with in the moment!
Like I said, the set itself is FANTASTIC. I cannot wait to get more sets to connect to the whomping willow and put on display!

Ford Anglia!
There were two reasons I decided to purchase this kit; partly for the fact it links to the Great Hall but mainly for the Ford Anglia. I was not disappointed at all, the detail on the Ford Anglia is wonderfully done and I was really happy with how it looked when it was built. The Whomping Willow looks incredible when built but getting the green leaf pieces to stay in place when you rotate it can be a bit of a chore, you need to really push them in VERY firmly and then cross your fingers.
Once you have the car and tree built you then move on to what I can only describe as the ramparts. To say this is primarily a linking kit there is a lot of details in the set. The main tower which forms the owlery is a real pain to attach and it took me several goes and still I couldn't do much more than balance it on. It wasn't until I built another kit that I figured out how to snap the pieces together so it is now secure instead of just balancing on top precariously.
Number Of Pieces: 753
Approximate Price Per Piece: £0.08
Build Time:
Car and Whomping Willow - 1 Hour
Ramparts - 13/4 Hours

Great but for one thing...
I love this Harry Potter series, have the Great Hall, Womping Willows and Clock Tower and their quite impressive when you put them all together. Overall it is a fun and like able build with not to many large pieces making it also somewhat challenging. It would be a five star review but for ONE super annoying thing that would seem so EASY to get right.
THE STICKERS BACKGROUND ARE NOT THE SAME COLOR AS THE LEGO.
First of all, I’m not a fan of the stickers and prefer them printed on the LEGO piece. But come on, at least get the color nuances right so that it has a chance to blend in when on the piece. Now you clearly see it’s a stickers and it looks bad.
Sorry LEGO, but please
Try to improve on this!
Hoping for more great HP sets in the future.

Whomp! Kaboom!
This set was a very good value for me, especially considering that it comes with Filch. The tree is fun and poseable, the car is great and can be made to fly in a lore friendly way, and the castle comes with a lot of very useful pieces.
I recorded a speed build of this set on my Youtube channel, Brick Building Fun. Come check it out!

Super beautiful set. Not necessarily cheap, but I bought the set at Bol with a nice discount. Very detailed and a lot of fun to build. Really very happy with it!

Great addition
Love, love, love. This set is amazing but it seems more like an addition peice to the great Hall set. It doesn't really stand alone well, just seems unfinished... I still love all the rooms and the mini figs as well. 1 complaint is the stairs issue that once added to the great Hall the stairs no longer work. I have personally solved the issue by turning up the lights and moving the table over (as pictured) but I feel like a bit more planning could have gone into it. All in all I'm in love and all issues are minor to me.

Very good
Everyone loves Harry Potter and LEGO, so this combination is great. We bought this as a gift for someone and actually wanted to keep it ourselves. It's very fun and durable.

Ron... Mind that TREE!
Well if you a fan of Harry Potter you're going to love the Ford Anglia car build its a great set to put together. You can even crash the car into the tree which is built well and spins around.
the Castle section joins with the Great hall which is another great feature of this set.
There is even a secret passage under the tree that leads to the shrieking shack 4756 Set.
hope you enjoyed my review

Lego Harry Potter
Nice building set from age 9. It is playable with fun figures. The blue car and the tree are really well done. Definitely worth 5 stars.

Magical play experience.
For the true Harry Potter fan. As you build, you'll be transported back to the magical world of Harry Potter. This time, you can experience your own adventures, just like in book/film 2. Once the figures are assembled, they are immediately recognizable as who they should represent. The building instructions are very clear, and you can finish it in one day. Hours of fun, especially on rainy days.

Disappointed overall but liked the Willow/Car
Having just finished the Coaster I was feeling bereft so as I was passing Leicester Square I popped into the Lego store. I thought the Willow, and the car, were great - I also had issues with the green branches too however.
I found the rest of the kit very uninspiring. The best bit was getting the Harry Potter figures in one hit - which I can use else where.
