Harry Potter great hall
Oh my goodness, we’re huge Harry Potter fans and have just got into Harry Potter Lego. This set was an amazing build. The attention to detail is second to none. Me granddaughter absolutely loves it. The instructions were clear and the set was easy to put together. This was a great start to our Harry Potter Lego collection.

Great Build, Great Display
The build itself was exciting and fun. The individual sections made for wonderful interactive pieces. Overall scale of the Great Hall is phenomenal! Not too small and a great addition to a Harry Potter themed teenage room.

A magical world
The Great Hall is much more than a building set to me: it's a small adventure in a box. From the moment I opened the first bag, it felt like I was turning over a new page in the Harry Potter universe. This time, it wasn't so much the nostalgia that touched me, but the pleasure of discovering how familiar scenes come to life in a fresh way.
What immediately struck me was how the set plays with space and perspective. The way the hall is built gives a sense of height and grandeur that I didn't expect. The towers and subtle color choices make the whole thing really breathe, without ever feeling overwhelming.
The small surprises – from hidden corners to a cleverly placed minifigure – always gave me a smile. It feels like the designers have hidden a few winks for those who pay attention.
Building itself is wonderfully rhythmic and relaxing, but there's also enough cleverness to make you occasionally stop and think: "Aha, that's clever!" This is exactly why building with LEGO remains so special to me. Thank you, LEGO, for creating another set that is more than just bricks: it's an experience.

A fun Harry Potter set for hours of playtime
The two daughters (10 and 12) really enjoyed building the set. The bricks are divided into 16 paper bags that are opened one by one and built. Everything is neatly described in a few instruction booklets, making the building process not too difficult. If you are looking for a real adult set with an enormous amount of detail, this set may not be for you, although the final result is certainly impressive. The set also comes with a lot of Harry Potter figures. This makes it ideal for playing out scenes from Harry Potter later. In short, a fun and yet quite large set with hours of building pleasure and even more play pleasure afterwards.

Awesome Harry Potter Set
This set comes in a nice, large box that you've probably been looking at for a while, because Lego has also put a lot of time into that.
You don't buy Maja the set for the box, so it will be opened quickly to find the bags and instruction booklets inside.
This time, they are paper bags and the instructions consist of multiple booklets.
The instructions, as I'm used to from Lego, are clear and easy to follow. This time, only the paper instructions are used and not the Lego Builder App. Also, the number and type of spare bricks you find in each bag are logical and very handy! This way, you get 2 wands for each mini-figure, because luckily, Lego understands that you might lose them quickly.
Building the set is very fun and enjoyable. It's also very nice that there are 3 small compartments under the castle that can be slid out to the basement. These compartments can then be unfolded again to fully open the space.
And for storing/displaying the set, it's very nice that these 3 compartments can be slid under the castle.
The troll that comes with the set is also very nice. It's very well done and, for me, corresponds to the film.
This set is open on one side, so it can be easily played with, but the set is also very well suited for being set up and admired!
Furthermore, the set does a good job of conveying the atmosphere of Harry Potter, and for me, it's a very successful set!

Magical Build with Incredible Detail & Nostalgia !
The Great Hall is truly a spellbinding set that brought immense joy to our family! My 10-year-old son had been eyeing this set for a while, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we opened the box, the excitement of diving into the wizarding world was palpable.
The build was an absolute delight. It was engaging without being overwhelming, and the detailed instructions made the process smooth and enjoyable. My son and I worked on it together, which made for some fantastic bonding time. The intricate designs of the castle—right down to the stained-glass windows and magical accessories—transported us straight to the heart of Hogwarts.
What makes this set stand out is the incredible attention to detail. From the floating candles to the house banners, every piece adds to the authenticity of the Great Hall. The set is also a great display piece, adding a magical touch to any room. Thankfully, we were able to collect 4 different collectible portraits just in this build and looking forward to finishing the entire set of 14 soon.
If you’re a Harry Potter fan or simply love detailed Lego builds, this set is a must-have. My son is already planning his next adventure with Lego Harry Potter sets! Highly recommend for hours of creative fun and family bonding.

Wonderful LEGO set
This is a really fun LEGO set to build. There are plenty of bricks to use and a lot of figures from the Harry Potter world included. It's fun to build alone or with others. It's also great that you can add other LEGO sets to this one.

Satisfied
The LEGO set is very reasonably priced, and the package arrived the next day. The box looked good (especially for bol.com), and nothing was missing. So, I am very satisfied.

Great stress reliever
I’m new to Legos, but after a house flood I needed a stress reliever and this fit the bill. I never played with Legos as a kid so this is all new and very fun. On Halloween I decorate in a Harry Potter theme and this set will fit right in. I’m looking forward to collecting the future sets as they are released.

Castlelicious
Love having another big section to add to the modular castle!! Enjoyed the build. Was SUUUUUPER sad to have paid $200 and received 3 of the exact same portrait for the collection of 14 portrait tiles. :’( I own ALL of the Harry Potter sets and so with spending that level of $$$ I wish there was a way we could trade back or purchase the whole collection. <Sigh!>

Great, Great Hall.
An enjoyable and impressive build, and nice to have some different characters. Slightly disappointed to find that 3 of the 4 'random' portraits on the corridor section were of the same witch. These can hopefully be changed with ones from other sets once bought. Apart from that minor hiccup, highly recommended!

The Greatest Hall
This set may not seem like much without the tall grand staircase for now. But definitely get it if you are a Harry Potter fan the amount of details that can still be added in the meantime and the amount of rooms that can be made and inserted into the dungeon section of the Great Hall, would be amazing. Plus on its own it's still an Immaculate build to have on display. I do believe it's missing a couple of pieces to make it as perfect as ever, but that's where the creativeness comes in. I definitely did some changes myself and I love this set. And can't wait to see the whole castle all together in the future.

Mixed feelings
Upon opening my package I was immediately insulted. Bought on release date and it's a 200 dollar set and it arrives with an OPEN and damaged box!!! I counted bags and I think everything is here but it's extremely INSULTING to have spent thousands on Legos over the past couple years and be sent an opened box on a pricey brand new release set. Boxes get damaged for sure, but this is ripped open by a person breaking multiple seals. Upon initial look through it's not even the best great hall. It's all outside aesthetic and bare minimum inside play. I already regret this purchase. I have the full modular set of the last two releases and I don't think I'm doing this one. Completely turned off. Don't feel like they value customers at all and just pump out half thought out sets nowadays. Makes you feel duped and unvalued. Especially when your 200 dollar investment is sent to you like trash.
