Great for a group!
I bought these and built them with friends. Really fun to build side by side. Beautiful end result and fun build. Most of the time you are building the branches the insects sit on and not the actual insect so thats not as fun. Also the price may be a little high for what you get. However over all I'm extremely satisfied and hope Lego makes more builds like this!
Note that the beetle and mantis can stand on their own legs or on the branch, while the butterfly can only be mounted on the branch.
Ps. You get cute little ladybugs and a bee!

Nice building set
Nice building set, not too difficult, but still fun to do. There is a separate building booklet for each insect, so several people can work on it together.

A wonderful set
I'm so pleased I decided to finally buy this set after debating whether to buy more botanicals or this. The colours are beautiful and it's fun to build. They look great in a display surrounded by flowers, or on their own. Each one of the three could easily have been a £30 set, so the price is actually decent value.

A LEGO set for the true insect lover.
After I had this set for quite some time since its release, I finally decided to get it. I have no regrets! This set is full of small details that any insect lover can appreciate, the models and dioramas are a perfect decoration and they look beautiful. The building process is great and I felt like a real Lego artist. I highly recommend this set!

Impressive Insects
These insects are a joy to build, delightful on display, and thoroughly well-designed with realistic articulating body parts and easy to remove models. They will go marvelously with my botanicals collection - I hope to have a whole Lego Natural History display one day! Props to the fan designer and Lego team for a beautiful build.

Awesome showpieces!
Purchased this for my 13yr old daughter. She was very happy to receive it as we told her it was out of stock for Christmas. It took her several hours to complete all 3 builds without any difficulty. We love that some pieces are used in a different context and it totally works. Overall these are fantastic show pieces.

Wildly Fun & Very Pretty!
This is the first Lego set I've bought and I'm over the moon about it! They're very well designed and look amazing as display pieces even without me having other insect or Lego pieces in my room. I will say some parts are tricky to keep track of in the building process and I had some trouble posing the mantis without the legs coming off, but considering they pop easily back in I don't consider that a flaw. All in all, this set is surprisingly easy for a beginner despite the issues I did have, and I really hope Lego makes more sets like this that feature naturalistic, complex animals or scenes.

Great product, and customer service shone out
This product is my first build of Lego since childhood. Have resisted them so far as didn’t want it around the house, but couldn’t resist these. It was a fairly simple build for an adult starter, and really enjoyable. They look fantastic.
What really stood out for me was DPD lost the parcel - it is still, according to the tracking number, sat at my local depot now. One call to Lego on the delivery day resulted in them sending me a replacement box right away, hassle free, no delay or ‘wait to see what happens with the package’. It was incredible and so hard to find customer service like that these days - I was quite taken aback, and will be ordering again!

Insect magnificence
Knew I had to have these when I first saw them, I’m usually a modular fan. Loved the way each insect is a different assembly with its own instructions. The Lego insects now enjoy a place a newly decorated guest bedroom where they really fit in with the decor.
No problem was found in any of the insects, they all went together really well. The colours are fabulous and the insects are really realistic.
I can really recommend this Lego set as a present to someone special or as a starter set for an adult.

Beautiful and vibrant
Bought for myself and as a gift for a friend. Very fun to build and took me about 3 hours to build all three of them. I like the bases that they’re on and how it looks like they’re perched on wood in a forest. The insects are very vibrant and stand out beautifully. Definitely recommend
To display these I bought a terrarium from IKEA, made a cardboard base, covered it in fake moss, and the put other fake plants around it so make it look like a forest scene.

I love them 🥲
This build was quite a challenge but also well worth the money. Each build took me a little over an hour. A little more if I wasn’t fully focused. Great for gradual builds but I’m impatient. I thought the figurines would be smaller but I think they’re a great size for having three builds in one! I really hope they make more bug sets soon because they come out so beautiful!

Very cool display!
This set fits right in with all of my botanical sets so very well! Overall this set is great, it makes a great build for someone that likes to pose and rearrange their sets. I did want to mention I did notice what appears to be a minor mistake in the instructions that would not alter the outcome. In the picture for step 53 in the butterfly instructions, the two inset pictures are switched around. It’s easy to tell by the piece orientation. Also, nice use of the pistol element!
