I love this set. It was fun and easy to build. Not confusing instructions easy to understand. Loved all the colors and the finished product is amazing. I love all the little details like the potion bottles and Harrys glasses. This is the set my eyes land on first every time I walk in my Lego room.
Got this set for my wife's birthday and she absolutely loved it. A ton of detail and it took her a fair amount of time to put together. The end result is so awesome. She loves this set so much. If you have a chance to get this set, do it, you will not be disappointed.
My wife and I built this together over the course of 3 days and it was a very exciting and fun experience. The detail and sheer size of the finished set is worth every cent spent.
Loved this set, until I attempted to piece Hagrid together…there was no head! It was missing! So. Disappointing. Lately, I’ve had horrible luck with the higher priced sets. I looked around my building area, hidden nooks and crannies to no avail. I requested a replacement… of course it’s Out of Stock. They will probably send a yellow head. <sigh> I am going to wait and see what they send. If it’s a sub, I may exchange it. I checked the secondary markets. Whoa! The prices for these golden figures!!!! Almost worth more than the set! So disappointed with the resale market. This build was fun and a great trip down memory lane. I really enjoyed this build. This is my favorite version of Hedwig. So impressive! I wish there was a better way to store the loose items (glasses-very fragile and the vial). Overall a nice trip down memory lane.

This set was an absolute dream to build. I built it with my 5 year old son and every step was accompanied by an amazing wave of nostalgia. I've read my son the first book and half of the second and he loved wearing the glasses and waving the wand! He built all the potion bottle and the snitch on his own and we built the rest together over three days and it was an absolutely incredible journey. I don't think building a set has affected me so emotionally like this before! If any lego staff read this please can you pass on my compliments and thanks to the designers for such a wonderful time

What an amazing build! I had so much fun building Hedwig. Every bag just got better and better with so much detail. I really enjoyed the books, potions and of course the last golden mini figures to complete the set!
This is a lovely set but I had to send for a piece that was missing. On page 396 you are told to build two pieces that a similar to the ones the figures are standing on. After they are built it doesn’t tell you where they are supposed to go. I don’t know why you need them. The letter is just balanced on the books.
What an absolute delight to build. So many fun Easter eggs for the HP fan and so many great techniques. The pages for the books are just brilliant. This is something that I want out on my counter all the time. It’s pricey but one of those pricey ones that’s worth it.
When I was choosing a jaw-dropping showpiece Wizarding World (WW) Lego set to own, my final two candidates were Sets 76391 (this one [HICE], 2021) and 71043 (Hogwarts Castle [HC], 2018). Putting the prices aside because I was happy to splurge to own an iconic set that will pay happiness dividends for at least a decade, the decision really came down to personal preference and set design completeness. While even very casual fans of WW and people who haven't consumed any WW content at all will almost certainly recognise the iconic Hogwarts Castle outline, and the provided minifigures enhance the playability, I'm disappointed with the scope of the set. While I understand the tradeoff between piece count and level of construction detail, the fact that HC only contains the a partial front-facing section of the castle (i.e., from the Great Hall and Entrance Courtyard to the Viaduct Entrance), thus leaving everything else (e.g., the rest of the Quad, the Clock Tower, the Middle Courtyard, and the Greenhouses), made me reluctant to purchase it. Then I saw HICE. The outline is also very distinct, if not slightly more so because not only is Hedwig herself a beloved icon of the WW franchise, but her snowy white colour provides an immediate contrast with the rest of the set. Adding to that, the innovative building technique (i.e., the support chassis locking in the books, potion rack, and Hedwig's legs), the iconic segments (i.e., the exclusive Hogwarts Acceptance Letter plates; Harry's glasses; the snitch; and the exclusive three golden figures, and plates for Dumbledore and the Lego/WW partnership), and a very handsome outline of the set gave it the edge over HC when making my purchase recently (Feb. 18). 👌
Brillian set, and the build experience was different to building some of the more usual architecture or buildings. Hedwig was a highlight, especially as another family member already has the smaller Hedwig and there really is no comparison - this one wins hands down. I like the variety of items from Hogwarts / Harry Potter World, and adds to the overall visual experience. I have included a photo where I have added 'Fawks' and the 'Hungarian Horntail' to the display using floating acrylic transparent shelves. I'm really pleased with the overall effect. Highly recommended.
I received this as a gift, I have completed many Lego sets with my children but this is the first “big build” I have done for myself, and what a fabulous build it is! 8hrs 46mins to complete, instructions were perfectly clear and easy to follow. The build itself is very sturdy, just need to find a display case so I don’t have to dust it!

I loved this build. With each bag I was amazed every piece was there except one simple piece I could get from my random lego bin. The instructions were clear and simple. The build was strong and stable. I'm a newbie to legos and I purchased this one because I love owls. It is so beautiful and impressive. When I tell my friends I built a lego owl they kind of chuckle and then I show them the picture and they are blown away with how impressive it looks. This was a fun build. I'll never go back to puzzles. Legos are way too much fun to build and look at.
We had great fun build this collectors edition. It really makes you appreciate the work that must go in from concept to the build process. While your building and on completion. My only niggle was the scarf build that lays in front of the books. Having only put some of parts to make the other Hogwarts colours I would have liked to have the remaining parts to make the four complete scarfs rather than have to interchange parts from the other Hogwarts house colours. Making it easier to interchange the house colours rather than having to break down one to build another. Apart from that highly recommended.
One of the best sets I have ever put together. I enjoyed putting this together. I can’t tell you how much fun I had. I worked on this nine hours straight. I didn’t want stop. This set was very well detailed from Hidwig to the books.
This is one of my favorite things Harry Potter related that I own. I have no idea how anyone can claim this is an unstable build or that any step is missing. Unless they have improved something drastically or people are holding it wrong, this is an extremely stable build. I absolutely love how it looks and how simple the directions were. Although the build is recommended for 18+, it is so easy to understand. I can’t say enough good things about this set. I am not sure I will ever find one I like more and I bought the castle. I even had someone come to the house and they took a picture. It’s that impressive…
