Horrible
The tallest castle on the left is not holding on no matter hiw much pressure you put in and if u try it the little building in the back of the bridge will go down. Some parts are not even covering and you can see holes. Some parts don't want to attach.the bridge is horrible has no support and if one piece falls in you would need to take the whole yhings down. It has no support and is poorly designed. The left building in the way end has no support except one part holding it, it moves all the time. The top of that building is horrible and never stays on.

Great set, missing pieces
I had a lot of fun building this set and it displays amazingly to me, it was fun, but I was missing a few pieces. I even had to shave down a plate to make another piece fit, because i had the wrong one. And a few times I found the book to not show the steps very well, but outside of that, it was great :) (below are the photos i took of the ONLY PIECE i had left, which is the incorrect one, so they sent the wrong piece, and the brick i shaved to fix it.)

Finger-numbing!
If you're looking for a set with over 2500 tiny, finger-numbing - but totally worth it - pieces, look no further! As time consuming and complex it is to build, the end result is one to marvel at. The hidden chambers referring to the first two books/movies can make even a non-lego fan, HP loving wife sit and admire it. It may not be as elaborate as the larger Hogwarts Castle, but it is a great addition to the collection.

Everything I could ask for!
As a lover of the films and the books, I really wanted to have a set to represent the world of Harry Potter, I missed out growing up on the larger full-scale set, and at the moment have no space for a large set like that anyway, so when I saw this I thought it was perfect, includes everything I could want for a skyline of the castle, and so many easter eggs while building, the overall experience was fantastic, and the result looks just as good as I was expecting, well worth the price and had such a great time from the first to last page of building it

Magnificent construction
Once again (as we are used to with LEGO), a realistic replica of Hogwarts. The details are amazing, and the final result is fantastic. Thanks to the perfect instructions (even in 3D in the LEGO Builders app), building is really easy. A must-have for all Harry Potter fans!

Nice LEGO set
For the small size, it's surprising how many details from the films can be found in the set. Many small parts, but still a fun build: with each bag, you can see new details of the castle and/or interior appear.

A joy from start to finish
My first 'micro scale' build and I'd have to say I loved every minute. The clever use of parts to achieve different aspects of the castle really kept me entertained, from building up the rocky foundations with rooms illustrating different storylines from the books to small features like the gaps in the bricks that replicate windows in the main tower. It's such a lovely model to look at once finished and a must for any Harry Potter fan. I also found an extension to the grounds on Rebrickable to make an already excellent build just that little more special.

Incredible
This set stands out as one of the finest I've ever constructed. Not only does it capture the quintessence of Hogwarts with its iconic pointed towers, but it also expands upon the rocky surroundings with meticulously crafted water features, a dynamic Durmstrang ship, and a soaring Beauxbatons carriage. I adore every aspect of this set: its breathtaking beauty, space-saving design, sturdy construction, and the way it encapsulates the essence of both the Harry Potter universe and LEGO in a compact yet incredibly detailed build. A perfect 10 out of 10!

Disappointed..
I absolutely love Harry Potter, and I feel like this would be amazing and worth seeing when finished. BUT, I bought this Lego sometime last year and I have yet to finish it because I don’t have the motivation for it anymore. Reasoning? This will now be the second time noticing that I’m missing a few pieces for this set, and now having to order more. I’ve never had this many issues with any other Lego set. I even took 8 bags worth of building apart and redid it to see if it was an error on my end. But nope..hours later with the same results. :( maybe I’d really love and enjoy this set, had I not got a set that was missing so many important pieces..

Mini magic
Well this set certainly got my attention while building it. I generally like big sets, the bigger the better.
But felt I needed this to go with my larger Hogwarts Castle. Wow what a surprise this was , miniature magic basically . Such a beautiful build, with such amazing miniature details .
I really only opt for big builds but this may have just swayed me to start trying as many smaller sets on micro scale as possible , as they are such a joy to build .
I’m not necessarily a Harry Potter fan, but this as got me intrigued to see what other sets I can now down size .
I highly recommend this set not just for the theme but the pure artistry in making something so small look so beautiful.

The Harry Potter set you should get
It was an interesting build, I liked the small rooms, the water and the Goblet of fire references. The castle is beautifully made. The size is perfect too. Awesome.

Just brilliant
My husband bought me this for Christmas and just made it,was smiling all the time I was making this.just great to build.there is a problem of printing in book one page246/247exactly like Staying Roste says in there review, there is a shape like a wedge of cheese missing in the bits you require for that part,I also had 2clear square bricks missing, luckily I have spares.still giving it a 5 as just loved making it.brilliant build.

Recommended, must buy
Still, I'm making time for a review. This is really a fantastic set. I had the large Hogwarts set in the past, which is also great, but actually too big. This is a more than worthy alternative. It's great to see what they've managed to fit into this scale, really super!

Amazing
I loved how it was built in sections so you didn’t get to bored while laying down the river tiles. The castle itself is a beauty to look at, the towers are built amazingly. The two things I was sad about is the baseplate is not solid at the bottom, so not great for moving. Also the larger baseplate it came with was a little warped from the box, but it will flatten overtime. Overall an amazing set with so many fun details!

Fun Set, Great for Fans!
My family got this set from my older sister this past Christmas, and my siblings and I worked on it together! It was fun to build, and reignited my love for Lego!
The set wasn't too difficult to build, but not so easy that it wasn't a challenge! And as a Harry Potter fan, seeing the castle come to life before my eyes made me feel like a little kid!
I would highly recommend this set for anyone looking for an enjoyable, semi-complicated set! Instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the completed set looked INCREDIBLE!

Fantastic
This is the first time I have put together a LEGO set. And wow, it's so beautiful. I have had so much fun building this Harry Potter set. I definitely recommend it, and it's also very nice as a decoration.

Great set for hours of building fun.
A great set for hours of building fun and full of fun details from the movies. The instructions are easy to follow and clearly step-by-step. The bags are numbered, so you don't have to search through the more than 2600 pieces all at once. This ensures a good and stable building experience, so you can enjoy it. In some parts of the building instructions, you will find explanations and fun information about the part you are building. Very happy with this set!

Great Look - Poor Instructions
I do not write many reviews, I've done many 18+ and model like sets including most of the Lego architecture sets... So like many of you - having things aligned and little 1x1 is very tedious and important to the overall aesthetic.
Whomever created these instructions clearly doesn't care about alignments. So many stacked small pieces they have you build in a terrible order.
Example: instead of building a stack of 4 1x1 tiles, they'll have you attach one by one to the base model and try to stack on the base plate.
Also found instructions are missing a few pieces in the inventory box but show up in the photo - be very careful.
Overall looks great when it's done - but be prepared for 22 bags of very very small pieces with poor instructions.

The only Harry Potter set you need to buy!
Fantastic final result and great diorama with recognizable references to the films, about which you can read more in the building instructions while building. With dimensions of 35 x 25 cm, it fits more easily into any interior than the large Hogwarts Castle. If you like Harry Potter or castles, then this is a must-have!

Wizardry
I'm not the biggest Harry Potter fan, but the architecture scale of Hogwarts made it a must have. Adding a $30 lighting kit makes it come to life! Easily my new converstion piece and overall nice build technique non repetitive. Scales nicely!
